Absolutely Excellent
These are mid to high end in ear monitors or iem’s. They are designed for the “Audiophile” type but I’m afraid that just isn’t me. I am very much someone who just likes to enjoy music and not analyse it too much. I’m just not that smart I guess. So to me these IEM’s are the best things I’ve listened to in a long time. They have a really warm tone to them, almost cosy with a really nice bass that’s not overly strong but is emphasised nicely. It’s not an exciting bass though so not great for those thumping bass lines. I really enjoy classical music with them or orchestral type stuff. You get loads of detail in the music so you’ll notice things that aren’t clear in lesser headphones. They also do not suffer with sharp high notes which piece your ears. I had another popular IEM before that was lovely but painful when there were highs on the music. The build of these seems outstanding, they are 3D printed casings but they still feel quality. There’s a lovely THICC cable that feels premium and isn’t too annoying. The hooks for my ears aren’t superb and I would love a little more adjustability but I do have a weird head. They fit quite comfortably and the bit that pokes into your ear isn’t too long which I know can be an issue for some. The tips are also nice but I wish they weren’t grey as they do show up the ear gunk. You also get a really nice case to keep them in which I thought was a great addition. The issues I have faced with these is that they have what I have discovered to be Driver Flex. It’s like a clicking when you put them in your ears. It seems to have lessened as I’ve used them more though and it was only left ear. I also had an issue where the left ear would kind of “pop” and there would suddenly be more sound, no other way to describe it. It felt like my ear had popped after landing in an aeroplane. These issues have gone as I’ve used them more though so maybe they need a bit of bedding in.These do appear to be quite pricey but IEM’s with the same driver setup and tuning seem to cost quite a bit more than these so based on that they do present relatively good value. The sound quality, build and comfort are great and I’m super happy with them. I keep them on me all the time and really enjoy listening with them. I highly recommend.

Great set of IEMs!
These IEM headphones come in very nice branded packing and a box with an included lovely zipped carry / travel case made of strong material and again with nice branding on it.The headphones themselves look amazing with a superb silver / chrome engraved finish on the rear again with the Kiwi ears logo and then gloss black sculptored drivers with great ergonomics. You get a full set of replacement silicon ear buds PLUS replacement grills which many iEMs do not include. The cable is super nice quality soft and flexible with a silvery gun metal finish with really nice connectors on either end.The special 2DD+2BA Hybrid technology I will not purport to understand but the sound of these headphones is pretty special with beautiful clear crisp highs, sweet mids and enough bass output and impact to satisfy me.A lovely degree of layering is also evident in the sound signature and I would class these headphones as having a higher tier in sound to price performance.Recommended

The single least offensive sound signature I have ever heard.
The KE4 is touted to follow the new meta curve in IEMs, partly due to the new B&K rig. This unit fits that target well, and the sound is simply awesome.Comfort is good, but the case feels cheap for a $200 set (I've got better ones in $30 sets). The cable is nice, and so are the eartips. The build of the units are unimpressive, but not bad. The same resin build as many other sets today. The sound is the special part. It is just.... great. Not perfect, not my preferred signature, but so palatable it's crazy. Sub-bass is at the correct level for harman-ish compliance, but the mid-bass is slightly warm. This gives it a very pleasant and rich overall signature. Mids are linear, with a bit of a delayed ear gain rise. This helps reduce shout and improve the sense of stage. Treble, again, is inoffensive. It is clear, clean, and present, but never overbearing. The overall signature is one of a pleasant, warm, and dynamic one. Nothing is overdone, and almost everything will sound good on it. The upper treble spike also helps bring out some brilliance - but doesn't cause any issues, even to a younger listener like myself. The only issue some could have would be the midbass, it is more present than Harman-like IEMs such as the SuperMix4, Nova, or even something like the Hexa.Overall just a easy listen. Just try it, it is a clear benchmark for tonality that all IEMs should measure themselves against.

impressive sound
Over the past few years I’ve start moving away from wireless buds and towards wired IEM’s. My first was a paid of Linsoul Kz Zs10’s and then a paid of Moondrop CHU II’s which had great sound, but were entry level IEM’s. They did not prepare me for the clarity and impressive sound of these Kiwi Ears KE4’s! Such a huge jump in sound quality and performance. I could hear all of the highs, mids and lows with great detail. So much so that I didn’t have to play them as loud to enjoy my music. I did have to change my Apple Music settings to Lossless Audio streaming in order to really take advantage and enjoy these. I also use them with my Steamdeck, as I am picking up on sounds I’ve never heard before with other headphones. So much atmosphere when gaming. I am now going back and replying some of my favorites like Control and the sound gives me goosebumps. I mainly play single player games as I think it all that clarity would be too intense with multiplayer. I highly recommend these

Kiwi Ears KE4 In Ear Monitor
