As I have said on other reviews, I love Korean beauty products. This is one of my favorites. When this toner arrived, it was larger than I was expecting for the price. Great value.I was a toner fanatic and fell out of the habit some time ago. I decided it was time to bring it back into my routine. This toner is superior to my old go to brand with witch hazel. This is a bit more like a toning serum. My cotton round shows that this removes dirt that washing alone has left behind. It is thicker than other brands I have used and appears to be almost a tow in one effect. I do follow up with my SPF moisturizer but I do think I could eliminate that, or at least use less.I think this is a great deal at $28.00 at the time of purchase. A little goes a long way and this will last you for a long time.

This essence contains Artemisia which is really good in helping sensitive skin and reducing redness. I like how hydrating it is. I also use it to make DIY sheet masks!

Thought this toner was nice. You get a generous amount in the bottle. Has a slight herbal scent but I didn't find it bothersome. I apply it with my hands and pat it into my skin instead of using cotton rounds. I thought that it added a nice layer of hydration before my other steps. It absorbs well and didn't leave me sticky feeling.

Have been suing this artemisia calming essence for a month now and will reorder. I use it before bedtime daily. The fragrance is absolutely subtle and calming, the presentation of the container on my shelf is beautiful and spa-like, and the product is gentle but effective. (I have only to look at the cotton ball after use to see what it picked up after my regular cleansing.)

The Missha Artemisia Calming Essence is exceptional! After cleansing my skin, I gently shook the bottle into my hand and found the drops of essence were so supersaturated with moisture that they appeared almost spherical, plumped with magic! It felt like an almost gel-like solution with each droplet bursting on the skin surface and soaking in like rain on parched earth - and it felt that quenching and satisfying to my skin!! My skin feels soft like a baby’s skin, and it even seems to have had a toning effect on my face too as the skin does not feel as loose as it did before using. Please note that you will be wasting this product if you use a cotton pad or ball to apply it to your skin - sprinkle it right into your hand and then apply it to your face with your finger tips. Do not let this soak into a cotton ball instead of your directly into your skin - it’s far too precious for that. I cannot recommend this enough! This is the best essence I have ever used!!

I always use toner after taking off the make-up, simply because some of it always ends up left on my face. So it's a regular part of my skin care routine. This toner is awesome - it's a little thicker than water, probably very liquid gel, and when you put it on the cotton round, it does not easily absorb. So you end up putting it on your face with more liquid than cotton, if that makes sense.Immediate effects are as expected - it removes anything that was left on the face - but there is also a feeling of hydration that I typically get after putting a serum on. I still follow it up with a serum, but I don't need as much, so it's saving you money on follow-up products.Whether there are any long-term effects, hard to tell, but so far, love this product.

I use this like a serum at bed time and have been waking up with my skin feeling good. I like the size of the bottle and it pours out by shaking rather than with a dropper. It works good and I have not had any bad issues. I don't have any big skin issues right now but it is not hurting me either. I will continue to use and soothe my face.

Nice watery essence. I place a small amount into my palms and pat into my skin. It absorbs nicely and leaves my skin feeling more soothe and hydrated. It has a very light herbal smell but it is pleasant and very mild. It's a nice product to prep the skin for other skincare products.
