I'm very impressed with the product, immediately, after first use. My hair is over shoulder length, curly loose ringlets, white and very fine. Almost impossible to style. It's usually dry, frizzy and blow-away. I don't use a leave in conditioner as often as I should. Yesterday I used a couple of quarter-sized squirts in my palm and fingered throughout my hair. Today my hair is soft, fuller and healthier. No residue on my pillow either...! ! I hoped the pump would give a spray, but it's a slightly heavier oil for that. There is very little scent and definitely not an unpleasant odor, those other complaints from other product vendors are buying either substitute oil or rancid aged oil. 3 days ago I kept about 5 tablespoons coconut oil in my hair for 10 hours before washing it out. It dripped over my shoulders all day, very messy. After I eventually washed it all out, there was no difference. As the recent article by hair stylists in Huffington Post had said, only Argan oil has small enough molecules to actually penetrate your hair, not just sit on the surface as a thickening coating which can't absorb in, as was the case with messy coconut oil. I highly recommend this for dry and damaged hair....lately I've been getting rats nest knots in the back of my hair from sleeping and I can't afford to lose any more hair..! ! This product worked well, ...immediately. No more tangles...! !

we ordered argan oil not too long ago from a different amazon seller, but thought this oil would make a nice gift for a friend because the pictures of the box looked presentable and reviews were ok (for the most part).the box arrived ripped, though it was packed inside the prime envelope. it was ripped by someone trying to open the box. looks like it was a returned item, which is a concern, as we cannot be sure about the quality of the oil inside. the box was not sealed, the bottle was not sealed and some of the oil leaked inside the box. no way it can be given as a gift to a friend.we've been buying organic argan oil for years from many different sources - from high-end, down to amazon. this particular oil has the strongest, most unpleasant smell of them all. it very thick and absolutely does not have the aroma described in the amazon listing. will test it and see if it compares to other argan oil. will not use this on face or body. it is just too risky at this point.2 stars for a tinted bottle and a spray top. though nothing fancy, it is just makes oil easier to use.

It literally smells disgusting. It’s not even just a mildly u pleasant smell — it’s foul!

This argan oil has a very rancid smell. I wasn't sure if this was normal for argan oil so I checked at wholefoods and bought a similar 100% organic pure argan oil but it definitely doesn't smell like the one from Orchid and Temple. I'm very bummed that I can't return this product since I missed the return window, but it smells terrible and didn't even make my hair smoother or softer. I've used it only twice since the smell was so bad. Is this expired??

This oils stinks so bad I think I'm going to return it. I will never buy argan oil again. Ewww.

This product was GREAT! The packaging was very nice. & on the packaging, it lists several different ways you can use the product which I really appreciated. I used it as a hair repair, moisturizer on my face, face exfoliator, a nail strengthening. I feel like it really helped with some wrinkles on my face, it smoothed out the rough patches on my fingers. My hair seemed healthier and repaired. This oil is probably one of my new favorite oils to get, and I will for sure be getting it again. I highly recommend getting this product!

I used this Organic Argan Oil as a moisturizer for my skin. To test it out, I only applied the oil to the back of one hand so that I would be able to tell the difference between the application site and the skin on my other hand. It made my skin super soft and smooth! Also, it has a spay applicator, which made it super easy for me to apply and it helped to control the amount of oil I used. I also used this oil on a dry spot on my face. The oil made the spot feel smoother and it made the dry skin on that area start to peel. I’d definitely recommend this oil as a moisturizer.

**Updated Review** 6/17/20It took about a year for me to get through this bottle, which was great. I finally ran out and purchased some more. The bottle looked the same and nothing was off on the packaging, however the oil I received smelled strongly of mint, and it sat on my skin instead of absorbing quickly as it should. I can no longer recommend this oil. It's authenticity is questionable. I returned and will be purchasing a different brand from now on.Old review:I've used coconut oil for years as a moisturizer. It worked great up until this year. For some reason I kept waking up with small whiteheads, and experiencing breakouts. So I did some research and learned that coconut oil has a comedogenic rating of 4 out of 5! Yikes. So after even more research, I learned that argon oil has a rating of 0! After comparing all the brands, I decided on orchid and temple. Honestly, when I first tried it, I thought it was making my skin worse, but after a week, my skin leveled out and no more breakouts, and no more whiteheads! It works! I use 2 pumps and that works well for me. It softens my skin but doesn't leave it slippery or greasy. So wearing it under makeup is great, because you don't have to worry about your face melting. I tested the color when I first received and it has a slight amber color, as it should. The only reason I rate this 4 stars instead of 5, is because it actually has no smell. From what I understand there should at least be some kind of nutty type smell, if not laced or watered down by something else. I would take a stinky, natural product any day, over something synthetic or filled with not so great ingredients. But the quality and everything else about this product is great. Package arrived on time. I will definitely purchase again!
