Yes you can but the material is quite thick so the pins might need to be longer? Worth a shot. I’ve had the bag for a year now and use it almost every day

Q: Is this backpack waterproof?

Waterproof enough! I used it in the rain and the water didn’t go through. I wouldn’t buy this tho as the strap tore off within a few months of buying it.
