Does exactly what it's supposed to.
Very easy to use, fit and maintain. Can't go wrong for the money.

Good price and decent quality
I ordered this one and a different one, both were similar price, but this was wade of thicker steel and felt more substantial, I can’t find a padlock that fits the lock hole though as it doesn’t fully line up to allow an 8mm padlock to slide in

It's a hitch, Jim, but as not we expected
Firstly, as others have commented, the hitch that arrives looks very different to the one in the listing images.I have contacted the seller asking them to amend their listing (both text and images). Their reply was a courteous offer to return the product (or accept a price cut and partial refund). It suggested the non-native-English speaking seller did not understand my protest.Personally, I prefer the item supplied to the one pictured, and am definitely keeping it.I draw your attention to:- there is no integral lock. But that fiddly insert and trivial key is hardly high security, anyway. On the other hand, there ARE two holes through the front of the handle. Fitting a standard 8mm padlock through there secures the hitch closed, whether the trailer is attached or not. Add a hitchball, and you have security both when towing, and when not. (and since that security can all be bypassed by unbolting the hitch, just how secure is it anyway?)I have used this padlock method on my large furniture trailer for four years now, and it is both convenient (highly visible padlock tells at a glance whether you are secure or not) and secure (dependent only on the quality of your padlock).- there is no release button to tear flesh. The handle is smooth and broad, with contoured finger grips, and is very comfortable to hold. The handle raises up to release the hitch, and does not come back down until a towball releases the mechanism buried in the channel. Which is where that sculpted fingerhold comes in, lifting the trailer nose onto the towball with a raised handle. A release button can rip your hands if you were trying to hold the hitch weight on a tilted handle. (I've done that on the hitch I want to replace!)- the whole thing looks and feels far more robust that expected, at this minimum price point. The metal is thick, and neatly formed. No nasty burrs or sharp edges. The hinge pins are solid.- I have one reservation: that the wire spring used to drive the mechanism MIGHT interfere with the top of the tow ball when the hitch is in use. This would cause rapid wear to one or the other. I plan to amend that by using needlenose pliers to twist the ends of the wire to the sides, away from the top of the ball. (Sorry I don't have a picture). This is the one design "flaw" that could cost it a 5 star rating. The rating:4 for the hitch. Would be a 5 if the spring wasn't a potential issue. I believe it will sort itself out quickly when in use, but haven't used it myself yet to know.2 for customer service. Prompt and courteous reply, but rather than fix the listing with correct images and accurate text description, I was offered a partial refund to keep it, or to return it. The spirit was there, but the understanding was lacking. And since the actual hitch is potentially a much better product than the one they show and describe, albeit requiring you to supply your own padlock for security, I don't understand why they persist with complaints and poor reviews when the item that turns up is so significantly different to the one they advertise.I'd like to give 4 or 5 stars, but cannot because of the surprise booby trap dropped on the customer, that has still not been amended like I asked four weeks ago.Edit Oct 2020: I see they've updated the images at last. Don't know when that happened.Upgrading from 3 to 4 stars. The spring catching the top of the towball is a minor problem, and they were slow to react to the "actual problem" of the misleading images and description. Otherwise, certainly a 5 star product.
