I've wanted a ratcheting belt for a long time, so I bought this one. The ratcheting action works so well! It's oddly liberating to be able to quickly adjust the belt's tightness with just a flip of a lever, and I will never go back to a traditional belt.However, this particular belt buckle style, with the open face, makes it difficult to thread the belt into the buckle. The belt often accidentally pushes through the open face and out of the front of the buckle, requiring me to back the belt out and try again, sometimes multiple times. I don't have the best hand-eye coordination in the world.I think that, if you're a fat-fingered dude like me, then the closed-faced buckles are going to work better.

I have two of these now, one in brown and one in black. it is a great belt and due to the ratchets, it does not wear at a specific hole like most belts do with use. Highly recommend this one and why I have two now!

Im72 born in 1952 I don’t know how many belts I’ve owned in my days but I can honestly say the ratchet belt is the very best and the package was safe and very sleek idident want to throw it away thank you for your time
