This steering wheel cover installed very easily. I did prepare it before I put it on.I have installed leather steering wheel covers on my other cars before. Some of my cars had wooden steering wheels. These steering wheels are really too hot to touch in Summer especially when I just got into the car. Most of my recent cars have leather covered steering wheels. Still, they are still a little hot in summer. Ever since I became a senior, I look for easy way to achieve the same results. I do not want to spend the time to laced up a steering wheel cover. I just picked up these clip-ons and called it a day. These actually works but the one I used did not cover all of the wheel. So, I picked up this one and give it a try. I am glad that I did so. It installed very easy and it only took about a minute for me to put it on. There are still some winkles in the material which I think sure go away after a while.This steering wheel cover arrived folded. I unpacked it and just let it relaxed for about 2 days. Put that under the sun whenever, the sun got inside my condo. On the day of installation, I placed it under direct sun for about 15 minutes. Due the black color, the steering wheel cover picked up heat very fast. It was quite warm to touch when I took it down to the garage.I installed the top half first and spread out the cover opening at the bottom. I was able to stretch the bottom half onto the steering wheel without too much effort. This was a surprise as I thought I was going to fight to get this on. Nope! This steering wheel cover just went on and I did it all by myself.So far so good. I do not expect this steering wheel cover not to perform. I will update this review after I used it for a while.

This suede steering wheel cover for car is as pictured and described. I got this for my 2007 Chrysler town and country and it worked well. I was surprised to learn you need a hair dryer to put this on. Most people don’t have one on hand. Luckily I was able to leave it in the hot sun for a few hours and was able to get it on. The steering wheel cover is a bit tricky to put on but manageable. It is a good fit on my van and feels comfortable as well, it is a lot better than the worn down wheel I was dealing with. I am pretty happy with this cover.

I needed a new steering wheel cover for one of my vehicles and this one looked similar to my other vehicle’s. It arrived folded in quarters which was a bit odd. The directions mentioned that creases will lessen over time after installation, which at first I was skeptical about. But honestly, once you heat it and stretch it enough to get it on the wheel, the creases are pretty much all gone. It looks just like a steering wheel cover you’d buy in round shape at your local department store.I attempted to put it on without heating it with a hairdryer and it would NOT work. The low setting on the hairdryer didn’t seem to be doing much so I used the high setting for about 3 minutes. It definitely made it easier to mold it around the steering wheel, but I did have to use a bit of force down near the bottom third. I did not need a second person to help hold it. It literally took me two minutes to get the steering wheel cover on!The fabric is soft-ish although it feels a little ‘off’ to my hands. It’s surely not real suede but kind of a fabric (rubberized?) slightly rough approximation. I think it’ll be fine for driving. My steering wheel gets really hot in the summer sun and this material feels like it will not absorb the sun’s heat as much. The cover that I last tried slipped around too much for safety, but the inside of this cover is rubber with a line of ‘tread’ to help grip the steering wheel. Between the tread and the tightness of the cover I think it’s going to stay in place much better than my old cover. It definitely didn’t budge during my errands today.I really like the satiny red stitching on this black ‘suede’ cover. It dresses up the car without having any crazy patterns like many steering wheel covers do.What I didn’t like was that the directions say to look at the pictures on Amazon to tell which side faces the driver. I can see that, but different pictures show different orientations of the straight stitching/curved stitching on the cover. I decided it looked more normal to put the curved stitching to the left and right rather than top right/left bottom like some of the photos showed.Not much to complain about with this SEG Direct steering wheel cover! It does what I need it to do, at a good price, and it looks good while doing it.

Time will tell how it holds up to normal use, but so far been using it a couple weeks and it's been great. Comfy. Keeps the wheel from getting too hot and I'm sure it will keep it from being cold in the winter. Seems like it was constructed well. Stitching is accurate and strong. Fits perfectly, as advertised. Overall, a great product!

This wasn't any trouble to put it on, just put it in your dryer for about 5 minutes and it'll slip right on without difficulty.It really looks nice on the steering wheel right now but I'm not sure how hard it is going to be to keep it clean.I'm finding that it is warmer on cold mornings and it gives me a little something more to grab onto, and overall improved my grip on the steering wheel. Thus a necessity for these old hands.

I recently got this car. One thing I noticed was that the steering wheel felt slippery in my hands as I was driving. I ordered the steering wheel cover because the material seemed like it would give good grip..That has proven to be true.The cover fits perfectly and does not slide on the wheel. The material is thick and of good quality.I am happy not only with the safety of steering that this cover provides but also it looks good.👍

It wasn't that difficult to put it in my Mazda 3 and it fits great. Looks really nice and makes the grip so much better.
