Winter is coming so get prepared.
Great cap to wear under a cycle helmet for extra warmth now that it's getting chilly outside. Can also be used for jogging if that's your thing. Easily washable and dries quite fast as there is no fleece lining on this cap meaning it's thinner than some of the warmer versions out there.Good value at £7.99 but you'd be better off buying 2 for 11.99 if you're going to be using them regularly.Stretchy lycra so one size fits most people.

Unusual colour, ideal for wearing without adjusting cycling helmet
If you ride a bike through the colder months you'll quickly find out that riding without a skull cap can make the experience very unpleasant indeed as the cold not only gets to the top of the head it will quickly result in a throbbing headache, particularly across the temples. Skull caps come in a variety of thicknesses from a thin Lycra™ to a warm fleece lining for additional softness and protection on crisp days, may be stitched from a single piece of material or made from several panels, may be short or long giving ears some protection, and may be a looser fit meaning a helmet's head band may require adjustment. What attracted me to this Oscenny™ Bike Skull Cap when offered for review under the Amazon Vine programme was it is more for cool rather than cold days, not featuring a fleece lining; and it is highly unusually light grey when most of these are either black or very dark grey. The thinner type is far easier to fit under a cycling helmet without adjusting the internal straps. The skull cap is supplied in a simple, re-sealable LDPE bag. It is made from four main panels in quarters and a surrounding elasticised band, all very neatly machine stitched, with a band around the bottom. Exactly what the construction is isn’t revealed, although Lycra is apparent; and neither are the washing instructions are limited to the LDPE bag, not the garment, with an attached label in Chinese:• Machine wash at 30ºC – the lowest setting, and 10ºC lower than most cycling equipment• Cannot be bleached• Do not tumble dry• Do not iron• Can be hand washedIt comes up fresh every time in a standard sports kit wash, and even though it states no tumble drying it got in there by mistake and emerged unscathed. What I particularly like is that the cap is a good fit, slightly loose on me but only fractionally. I also like that the cap wicks sweat effectively – there’s little more off putting than a sopping wet skull cap which leaves the head sweaty at a café stop for finding the owner relegated to the sidelines. For £7.99 I think this offers good value for money, and although I’m using this for cycling it would be just as good for hiking, running or skiing in inclement weather.

Perfect Under Helmet Cap
The Oscenny Cycling Cap is lightweight, breathable, and fits comfortably under my helmet. It wicks away moisture, keeping me cool and dry during long rides. Great for any season and ideal for both men and women. A must-have for cyclists!

Perfect skull cap
Pros-This lycra cap fits nicely, is comfortable , moisture free under helmet. I prefer to wear this as I feel helmet bit stable and doesn't wobble when riding bike as it works like liner. The cap itself is made of nice quality material, so feels soft too.cons- none

comfortable lycra black under hat / helmet liner
I wear this 'liner' hat under a horse-riding helmet and it is extremely comfortable. It's made of lycra so slightly stretchy and is labelled 'one size' so it should fit all heads. My hat size is 57 and it does not need to stretch at all at this size. (57 is relatively small for an adult.) It's very light weight. The advantage of wearing a hat liner is that you can easily wash it and so keep your hard hat smelling fresher.

Too small, weird shape, poor material
I couldn't really wear this, it's such a weird shape and size.I wouldn't recommend this, even for running a normal hat would be better

A good extra layer
Himself ordered this to wear under his cycle helmet when out and about, now the weather temperature is dropping. He thought it was slightly smaller than expected as it didn’t cover the bottom of his ears when trying it on, though he has an average sized head…myself I think it’s a case of pulling it down to fit over the ears before putting the helmet on to keep it in place. It comes low down on the forehead just above the eyebrow line.Although he hasn’t actually worn it for cycling, he’s been wearing it under his work cap when the wind is cold, keeping his head warm whilst pottering in the garden, and says it works a treat. For the retail price of just under £8, it’s an ideal liner for many uses, and easily washed to keep fresh.

Fits well, very thin
The title of the cap says "4 seasons", the description says 4 seasons when worn under a cycling helmet cap, so a bit misleading. Having said that it is comfortable to wear and is ideal for autumn or spring use underneath a cycle helmet, I can't really report on its use on hot days as we've not had any since getting the cap. At time of review it was £7.99 which I think it quite a lot for something as thin as this, hence the 4 stars. This is a review of an item received free as part of the Amazon Vine program. I make my reviews as objective as possible and only award 5 stars if I feel a product is really worth it and is something that I would be happy to buy.

Meine Suche geht weiter.
