We did query the cost initially, but using it for the past few weeks has made us thankful we definitely made the right decision.

Perfect knife for cutting bread

An excellent addition to my Global collection.First used the knife on a still warm loaf and was totally amazed by the cutting power.Very easy to use, comfortable in the hand and by using a simple sawing motion using the knife's own weight and the super sharp serrated blade it produces a straight cut edged slice - excellent !!!Also looks great as well.Highly recommended - well done Global.

We already have a number of Global knives and have found them outstanding. If you're a serious cook, they are a good investment. But why spend so much on a breadknife? Well if you're like us you'll have gone through a number of cheapies, then you've bought an expensive one - only to drop it on the floor and break the handle. I just wish we'd missed out stage two.

I used to think that I was bad at cutting bread. It turns out I just had a bad knife. This beauty can neatly and thinly slice even the freshest warm loaf. Get this if you love piping hot fresh bread and HATE ripping it up and squishing it with a dull knife

So what kind of fool pays nearly £100 for a bread knive?This kind of not so foolish fool.This is an amazing bread knive. We bake a lot semi commercially snd this thing cuts beautifully through any bread or cakePaper thins slices even with still warm baked goods. It is an expensive bread knive, but it is bloomin marvellouse.

I am not convinced it is a real global knife dispute the global price. Used the knife about 7 times and put in the dish washer once. It’s got rust marks so obviously not impressed
