This is an excellent kit for anyone who’s serious enough about color calibration. This includes the SpyderPro sensor, license key for the SpyderPro software, calibration targets for both photo and video as well as Spyder Cube which can help with white balance.The updated version 6.1 of SpyderPro software is their best yet. It has modern look as well as much more user friendly interface that’s not all gray like previous versions. Calibration is much quicker than SpyderX Elite even though it goes through more thorough calibration process. Sensor has USB-C interface along with USB-A adapter making it compatible with various platforms. It’s also futureproofed in that it can also calibrate mini-LED as well as OLED displays which the older versions could not.Unlike older packages, the target cards included with the bundle is tiny. Previous versions included targets that are about half letter size but these are much smaller. Target card holder has 2 pre mounted calibration cards and additional cards are included in the sleeves. While small, they’re more portable and you can use them at the beginning of the shoot so that you can make adjustments in post. Included Spyder Cube is super handy as you can mount it on a tripod or a clamp to take a picture or include it in the video shoot to correct white balance later. I’ve used this to white balance challenging lighting conditions and it’s been part of my kit for a while.This is the latest kit with updated software suite for calibrating monitors and with included calibration targets, it makes color correcting photos as well as videos a breeze. Highly recommended for anyone who’s serious about photo and video editing.

This is the complete kit for any photos/videos color management. It comes with a few different small size color cards, can be used for different type of shoots. The monitor sensor can auto calibrate the monitor to match the actual color. The setup/calibration process does a bit of time to configurate to my own style that I like Once the process is down, its much easier to apply it to different photo/video projects, or make any minor adjustments. This is great for any semi-pro, or professional work. Makes the post color management much easier, and efficient.

I bought this because I already had the small Datacolor passport for my photography and now with this new kit I can also adjust my monitor and video color as well.This kit comes with everything you could possibly need for perfect color matching which is crucial when editing on the computer as you want the colors to come out as accurate as possible.

I work in the web development and design industry and I'm very impressed by this device. It's a must have especially if you do print work.I had no idea how big the difference between my monitor was and it does a great job when you do print work. The colour will be 99% accurate.Here is a list of the pros:- It calibrates monitors up to 2000 nits (I use an iMac and a cheap screen as a secondary one and it did a great job calibrating it)- It measures room light and adjusts the colour profile- It allows you to select colour spaces- Easy to create an account and link the software with your device (serial number)- Easy to use if this is your first time (this is my first time using it and the instructions are very easy to follow- Comes in a very handy case with all the items included- Great for camera calibration- Easy to analyse your screen's colours and brightness (display analysis)- Very quickCons:- The first attempt at screen calibration failed for an unknown reason and I had to restart the software and try again (it worked fine the next time).- The screen adjustment for my laptop complicated the colours at the first calibration and fixed them once I tried again.Overall it's a great tool to have. Easy to use and well made. It will last and it will make your life easier. It's quite expensive but it does an amazing job. 5 out of 5 stars (I'm not dropping a star for the cons as it might be a user error).

Fantastico kit per la calibrazione del proprio schermo, che sia monitor, laptop oppure anche un proiettore, il tutto attraverso lo SpyderPro ed una serie di accessori racchiusi in una bellissima valigetta in metallo.Il dispositivo principale permette di calibrare tutti i parametri dello schermo in pochissimo tempo, utilizzando il software in dotazione. Il funzionamento è molto semplice, basta seguire le indicazione del programma e posizionare il sensore direttamente sul monitor.Ho trovato molto interessante lo Spyder Cube, che permette di regolare l’esposizione ed il bilanciamento dei bianchi. È composto da un cubo, le cui facce sono colorate con diverse tonalità di grigio per calibrare i bianchi e le ombre, mentre un lato è interamente nero, utilissimo per ottenere il punto con il nero puro nell’immagine. Su uno dei lati del cubo è posizionato un attacco a vite, mentre sull’altro si trova una piccola sfera che andando a riflettere la luce, permette di calcolare il bianco puro e quindi regolare le impostazioni in base al punto più chiaro dell’immagine.Per finire nel kit sono presenti due color checker, uno per i video e l’altro per le foto. Sono delle tavolozze con tante tonalità di colori, per andare a calibrare la macchina fotografica. Ho apprezzato che ci siano tanti toni, in quantità superiore ad altri set che ho utilizzato in passato. Non sono presenti infatti solo i colori primari, ma anche varie sfumature per avere una gamma più ricca e completa.RIASSUMENDOPro: Set molto completo,SpyderPro semplice da usare,Spyder Cube realizzato davvero bene,color checker ricco di tante tonalità.Contro: prezzo un po’ elevato

Ce kit est vraiment appréciable pour ceux qui, comme moi, veulent avoir un rendu précis des couleurs de la prise de vue à la post-production.Elle est très complète et donne même bien plus que ce que j'ai besoin en tant que film maker.Pour le Checkr, j'étais en terrain connu, car je le possédais déjà et j'en suis très satisfait d'ailleurs, mais le Spyder Cube a été une première pour moi, et je l'ai trouvé très intéressant pour la gestion de la balance des blancs et du contraste. Sans compter le fait que c'est assez facile à utiliser et que le résultat est convaincant.Mais l'outil que j'attendais le plus dans ce kit était clairement la Spyder Pro, car le color grading fait partie intégrante de mon métier et avoir des écrans étalonnés pour le REC 709 avec des couleurs qui match le plus possible est primordial pour moi.Avec cette sonde, j'ai donc réussi plus ou moins à faire correspondre les couleurs de mon écran de montage (écran gamer grand public), avec mon moniteur principal d'étalonnage. Évidemment, il est impossible de les faire matcher à 100% et après coup, mon écran de montage restait très saturé comparé au moniteur pro. J'ai donc continué mes réglages directement avec les boutons de l'écran et maintenant, c'est beaucoup mieux, sans pour autant être parfait.J'ai également beaucoup aimé la petite mallette et mine de rien, ne serait-ce que pour pouvoir ranger sa sonde, elle est vraiment très pratique et évite de la laisser à la poussière.Bref, très utile sur le long terme !

Al principio es posible que te sientas un poco intimidado por la idea de calibrar un monitor. Siempre lo había visto como algo complejo, reservado para profesionales. Pero hay buenas noticias. Todo el proceso es bastante sencillo, desde la instalación del software hasta la calibración en sí.En el pack, muy bien presentado en una caja metálica tenemos SpyderX Pro, el Spyder Cube, el Spyder Checkr Video y el Spyder Checkr Photo Car. El software permite crear una cuenta y vincularla con el dispositivo mediante el número de serie, lo que facilita la gestión de las licencias y supongo que las actualizaciones, aunque no lo he verificado todavía.Una vez instalado, el software de Datacolor te guía paso a paso en todo el proceso, haciéndolo mucho mas fluido de lo esperado. Te da varias opciones previas a la calibración en si del monitor, como la luz ambiente, o el espacio de color que prefieras. Posiblemente sea overkill para muchos usuarios pero los pros de verdad lo van a agradecer.La calibración del monitor en sí es rápida y sencilla. El SpyderX Pro se coloca sobre la pantalla y el software se encarga del resto. Durante el proceso, el programa va indicando los ajustes que hay que realizar en el monitor, como el brillo, el contraste y los valores RGB. Los resultados obtenidos son sorprendentes ya que hasta que no lo haces no te das cuenta de lo mal calibrados que vienen por defecto la mayoría de los monitores. El unico tema un poco mas peliagudo en el proceso es determinar el tipo de retroiluminación del monitor ya que para eso lo mejor es buscar en las especificaciones que da el fabricante y fiarte.

A partir de un cierto nivel de acabado, es indispensable contar con una correcta calibración del equipo para no producir resultados que sean un disparate y te falle algo tan básico como la consistencia de color.
