COMFORTABLE & LIGHT WEIGHT!

I ordered these boots for my son to wear while helping around the yard. He is thrilled with these boots! I tried them on and used them for a while, too. While they are a little large for me, I was surprised by how comfortable and easy to wear they are.QUALITYThe boots are very well made. The leather upper is firmly attached to the rubber sole. The leather is very durable and a great quality.The rubber sole is quite thick. It provides comfort to the arch and is also comfortable to walk on - especially on rocky and rough terrain. Since the sole is thicker than most boots we have, it takes a minute to get used to, but it really is nice.The rubber sole also flexes well, which makes the boots even more versatile.SIZEThe boots are true-to-size and fit like a glove. There is no pinching or rubbing on the inside.The boots are also easy to get on and off, and lace up easily.COMFORTThe boots are really very comfortable. They are lightweight, so you don't feel like you're lugging around bricks all day on your feet.Other boots we've tried need to be worn for a while before they are broken in and comfortable. That is not the case with these boots - instead, they just feel comfortable immediately. I like that.VERSATILEThese boots are not only good for working around the yard, they also make very comfortable and stylish everyday wear boots.My son has been wearing the boots to work where he is on his feet all day. He likes these boots so much better than other brands we've tried.Overall, we are really very happy with the excellent quality and comfort of these boots. I highly recommend them!

We ordered these boots for my husband in his normal size 9, and they fit true to size.The boot is extremely well made, however they are not easy to put on, even with the rear pull loop provided.The faux shoe laces which are permanently in place do offer the freedom from having to constantly bend over to tie the laces, But they are difficult to get on because the instep of the boot is too narrow.It requires way too much effort. The double sided stretch columns add appeal to the boot but do not assist in the placement of the shoe itself.This is unfortunate because the ease of the style really makes it less desirable. My husband has decidedthat he will remove the laces that came with the boot and replace them with a pair of regular shoe laces that match the boot.The boot has a moc toe and wedge heel which is made of sustainable material. They are very comfortable to walk in, with no restriction in the toe box. The insole provides some arch support and cushion. They are made of leather and therefore is not the kind of boot he would wear in rainy or snowy weather. The boot is light in weight and he has worn them for hours at a time and has no complaints.The boots are advertised as a "chelsea style boot" , but chelseas boots typically are more narrow, have a thinner sole and do not have laces. They do feel and look very durable and the color combination lends itself to air with many outfits and color combinations. They are versatile enough to be worn for a casual evening out for a bite to eat or my husband has worn them to work. They are not dressy but look more rugged.

Typically my husband prefers tall boots, but he wanted to try short ones. These are comfortable and have worn well. They are also lightweight and easy to put on/take off.
