Love my owl
My owl has a special spot in my yard, He is next to my roses. I love how he looks perched among my rose bushes. He is sturdy and easy to assemble to put in the yard. My neighbors like and compliment me on my flower beds.I highly recommend this product to anyone who wants something different and pretty in their yard.

Small but cute
This is a small solar owl. It is much smaller than I expected, but it is still cute. It worked fine for me right out of the package. I snapped in the solar section and then snapped in the stake. Then, I removed the film from the solar panel and turned the owl on. It lit up right away. The only problem was that the entire owl did not light up; only the base lit up. I bought the brown owl, and it is too dark to illuminate when the light is on. It is still a cute garden decoration, but it is difficult to see what it is at night because the owl itself is not lit.

Loses a star each for durability and lighting, but it's not all bad for a little owl decoration
This owl decoration isn't awful at all, and it does light up for a while thanks to the solar powered battery. It's made of resin of some kind and it's on a little push fit stake that goes into the ground pretty easily. It does not in any way provide enough light to see by, but if you're looking at it in complete darkness, you can make out the rock and the owl.I am taking away a star for the single LED in the base being a disappointing way to light this figure, and for the way the thin red and black wires that connect the solar panel to the battery/light are just out in the open, which doesn't seem very durable. The solar panel can also be accidentally detached from the stake/base, also, it just kind of slots in there to the base, where you can angle the solar panel for better light absorption. If you do accidentally disconnect it, then it will just hang there awkwardly by the red and black wires. The owl itself looks alright, though it's definitely smaller than you probably think it is. In the light it looks pretty alright, though the lighting at night that makes the rock/owl light up don't look super impressive. I think an LED in the base and then two LEDs for the owl eyes would probably have looked better, since as it is it just looks like an owl-shaped resin lit-up rock at night. Which is what it is, true, but it's still not really the effect I was hoping for.I'm really not sure how long this is going to last based on the wires being unguarded as they are by design; any curious creature could nibble on the wires and then the owl is just a hunk of plastic with a dead battery sitting in the lawn. I've never seen a solar device with the wires just left out in the open like this, it's truly confusing, they should have been at a minimum glued onto the bottom of the device, if not built into it.Being small, it also doesn't really stand up very tall out of the lawn, be mindful where you put it because it could easily be a tripping hazard. I'm not removing a star for that, but it probably is smaller than you imagine, as I said; pull out a measuring tape and compare the size.As I said, this isn't an awful solar-powered owl statue, it's just disappointing in some very key ways for something that isn't less than $10.I only review things that I personally use myself on a regular and continued basis. I always give my full, honest, unbiased and unfiltered opinion on everything I review. I will not mince words. I write exactly what I think about things - the good, the bad, the ugly, and the questionable. And, I will update my review if something breaks, stops working as intended, or otherwise doesn't hold up as expected.

Hoot Hoot, this is cute.
This solar powered owl is a nice addition to any garden. With its adorable, realistic design, it’s a total conversation starter. You can install them easily with a stake, but I got creative and used a zip-tie and attached mine to a pole, works like a charm. This has light sensor, It automatically light up at night, adding a magical glow in any outdoor space. Functional, fun, and super easy to set up.

Fun little lightup owl for garden
This little garden owl isn't very large but I think it is a good accessory for my garden. It comes with a little adjustable solar pad to keep it charged and it is super easy to install in your garden or wherever.

Cute but small
Owl is super cute and has great details but it is much smaller than I expected. The owl itself is about the size of my hand.It goes together very easily albeit I'm not sure why the ground stake has cutouts on it. Small solar panel has a protective plastic on it. Peel the plastic off, position the solar panel to best capture the sun, activate the little switch on the bottom of the owl and set it in your garden.Only the base glows. Was hoping the light would illuminate the eyes but no, just the base.$16.99 at time of review, seems a little high for such a small owl, especially since it is just the base that lights at night. It's cute, I like it. It works but is a tad underwhelming.

Very small but cute and good solar power
This owl IS small but that is what makes it so adorable! Very strong solar power, it was charged when I got it, and stayed on all night in my house. Put it out in my garden this morning with all the other big owls I have and it is the baby one now. If you like owls you will want to have one of these, actually I want more baby owls.

Nice detail but very small.
The mold of the owl is pretty nice and detailed, looks good. But it is very small and only the very bottom has light to it. The birds I was hoping to scare away with the owl are bigger then this owl, also only a short stake so if you put it in the ground the owl will be basically be sitting in the ground. But besides that it is a nice looking ornament with a lighted base.
