Mattress Protector, Queen

Good quality, fits my King size mattress perfectly. so far it is serving the purpose of protecting the brand new mattress without making it feel extra hot to the touch during this already hot heather of 90-100 F degrees. I don't necessarily feel that it cools down the mattress, but neither does it make it feel hotter.

This is the BEST mattress protector ever! Some are noisy, stiff and loud to sleep on. This one is not. It has just the right amount of softness and support. I'm sold and I will not waste my money on anything else in the future.

Perfect fit and quality!

After using this for a while.....it’s okay. We notice now that the fit is looser than original and it now wrinkles underneath the fitted sheets. As to coolness nice advertisement, but we have not notice in attributes in the area.

I bought this mattress protector to 1) protect my new hybrid mattress from potential accidents 2) ensure that the bed stayed cool at night. The protector certainly excelled at the first goal. It's a very sturdy, soft, and well made protector that definitely encases the top of the mattress with full protection from spills and accidents. The material is quite dense but not plasticky; more like slightly rubbery. The elastic skirt is well made and very deep, so it fits mattresses of all heights.First off, I should note that I used my mattress with just a simple mattress padNow for the bad news: after many weeks of testing (and sweating profusely), I finally determined that the Slumbercool did the exact opposite of cooling my bed. It made it a furnace, trapping heat and moisture. It took me a while to come to this conclusion, as I'd added various other bedding items at the same time to my bed, like a new duvet, duvet cover, sheets, blanket, and a mattress pad to sit on top of the protector. I focused on all of those items first, since I wrongly assumed the Slumbercool was least likely to be heating up the bed. Wrong! It came down to me sleeping with just a blanket and very thin sheets on the bed with the Slumbercool still on it, and I was still overheating. Finally, after removing the Slumbercool, the bed magically cooled down to a normal level, even with all the other bedding on it.So, as much as I would love to give this item a 5 star review, it utterly failed in keeping my bed cool.

We had a waterproof protector that was nice. It was about the same price but it had more of plastic backing. It finally peeled off. I bought this to replace it. No plastic on the back, it is very heavy and well worth the money. I have not had use the waterproof, but I am assuming it will be fine since that was it's purpose.

It works. There is less sweating, and what sweat gets on the sheet doesn't leave an odor.
