Performed very well - even on a small design!
Last week, I had a client ask if I could digitize a puffy embroidery design for her. That's a new one for me, so I researched it and told her I could. I found this set of foam sheets and thought they'd be great for practice and eventual production. The sheets measure 9 by 12 inches by 2mm thick. Since my client asked for 3 mm thick foam, I then bought a name brand in 3mm. Next, I digitized the letter 's' at about 1/2 inch long by 3/8 inch wide and stitched the same design on a small square a piece of foam from each package. The gray piece is this product and the yellow is the name brand. (Both can be found on Amazon.) My first attempt at digitizing for puffy foam needs work, but this stitch out shows the performance of the foam sheets. With such small lettering, this 2mm sheet actually performed better than the name brand because it didn't interfere with the stitching and it stayed under the stitches. The excess from both foam pieces pulled away from the stitching very easily, and I used a weeding tool to take out the small pieces. I am very pleased with how well this 2mm foam sheet performed. In my opinion, it outperformed the name brand on this small design. I expect, at the least, it will be equal to the name brand on large designs. This set has the advantage of providing more sheets which are larger, and at a lower price. If the puff embroidery turns into a new product line for me, I will buy more of these foam sheets.

Basic foam sheets
This is the same kind of foam sheet that you can buy at the craft store. It's easy to cut, and relatively stiff while maintaining some flexibility. I've used these to make mardi gras costumes for dolls (I know, right?!), doll furniture, and even dollhouse picture frames. It's quite handy for crafting.

Easy to use
I am making my kids Halloween costume and some parts are a little more difficult to make with cardboard so opted to get some eva foam for those parts. I never worked with foam before, it is easier to use than the cardboard, a sharp pair of scissors and utility blade make it very easy to cut. The color is a little different than our spray paint, but it's just a fun Halloween costume, nothing serious and my kid is happy with it.

Nice, affordable EVA foam sheets
I've been using these to cut texture mats with my laser cutter, and they've worked perfectly for that. They're consistently sized, and cut cleanly.I mean, they're EVA foam. There's not a lot to say about them. These are a good source of it if you're using 2mm EVA for crafting, cosplay or whatnot.

Toxic smell
I ordered these for a Halloween costume. They smell so bad I couldn’t even keep them in my house let alone use them with my child. They smell toxic

Great for school projects
My son's teacher requested art supply donations for a class project. I sent these along with a few other items. The teacher said the kids all liked this way better than construction paper.

Perfect for crafting
These thin brown foam sheets had a sort of chemical smell at first, which most foam sheets have. It went away after they were out of the package a while. I used these sheets to cut out Brownie vest shapes and am using them to glue their badges on for our awards ceremony. It cut well and is thick enough for my use. I would use it again!
