My wife and I committed to doing more crafts. So far, painting has been our shared favorite. These boards are the perfect thing to practice on. The canvas is good, and high quality—no bunching around the edges, and the material itself isn't as rough as some of the cheaper canvas tends to be. The size of these is great for a variety of purposes as well: night in with your significant other, enrichment time with the kids, art therapy, group wine & paint night, etc.The boards I've purchased from Michael's actually ended up being thicker, which can either be preferable or not, depending on what you need. I actually like how thin these are, and the additional sleeves might be nice if you're hoping to keep these in a kind of memory box, or display them somewhere in your house.

These canvas boards are the perfect size for the beginning artist. I wouldn't advise trying to use water colors on them, though, but they are perfect for acrylics and oils. They are easy to transport, and I like the protective sleeves that come with them to help prevent works from being damaged while transporting.

These canvas boards are great for home art projects where top tier quality is neither desired nor required. Here are some thoughts on why they are a recommended buy.Pros:- The price point makes them a good balance between affordability and hours of art fun.- The actual canvas fabric is tightly spread over the four corners and four edges. No part of the canvas was observed to be loosely drawn over the edges.- Being sufficiently thick, reasonable amounts of paint do not bleed through during use.Cons:- None that I can think of at the moment. If any negatives are observed, I'll be sure to update this review.Overall, I do recommend this set of twelve 8 inch by 10 inch canvas boards.

We have to supply our own stuff for this class, so this pack is really handy. 8x10 seems to be the most common need, so I'm stocking up on these. They're decent canvas boards; I don't know what else to say about such a basic product, but my kids definitely appreciate it!

These prepped canvases are great items. The price is very reasonable, dare I say cheap, but not “cheap” cheap to the hobbyist and beginner artists. I mean to say, the canvases themselves are just what I need to practice and hopefully hang, a piece if I can get past high school art class level 😅 abilities lol. Been 40 years since I painted so it’s a new learning curve. In case any prospective buyers are wondering about watercolors - I would recommend these for that particular medium - because they will slide off the finish of canvas. But for a few bucks, on this very site, if you are feelin’ froggy, go ahead and jump! Search “watercolor ground” exactly in that term. Takes you right to inexpensive options as well as professionally priced and level choices. Merely paint the canvas, just as if you are doing a wash, let it dry thoroughly and go! You may want more than one coat, depending on your desired results. These are a good buy and good for non professionals.

These are very nice 8"X10" canvas painting boards. The boards are stiff and the canvas is fairly thick for all types of paints. Our daughters have been using these for their art projects and they are super happy with the quality of these canvas boards. I am just getting into painting with acrylics and these canvas boards are working good for my beginner art projects as well.

I needed some canvas board for a project that didn't really require the highest quality and these are not bad! I think they could be really good for practice or test paintings, I am not sure they are quality enough for 'pro artists' but given my project I am not doing some pro art. They have a nice thick coating of gesso making them fairly smooth for canvas, they claim it is suitable for all medium but I would really recommend using watercolor ground if you are going that route because the sizing is not perfect for watercolor, it is great for acrylic and gouache though.

This 12-pack of 8x10 canvas boards is pre-primed and acid-free. I use acrylic paints and other mixed media and they work just fine. A bonus is they come with 12 plastic art sleeves to place your paintings in once they are fully dried. You can't go wrong with this choice.
