Johnson Pump JP-21405 First Mate Bilge Pump - 400 GPH

No matter how much you pay for a pump, it will wear out. But this pump owes me nothing. It is reasonably cheap and it pumps well. Moves plenty of liquids. I never run it more than 15 minutes at a time and I expect it to last a couple of years. If I get six months out of it, I'll consider it the best buy I made this year. There are bigger, faster, quieter, more expensive pumps. This one works and works and works if you don't overextend it. Best pump for the money.

I needed a new bilge pump this spring to replace my old one which failed. I received the new pump quickly, installed it, and it does the job of emptying the bilge.. All is good.

for it's size it really compares with much larger pumps outputs. also the mounting bracket that is supplied with the pump allows very versitile installation , while being capable of very quick and easy pump removable when you want to clean .would recomend to anyone who needs a pump.

Direct replacement for old bilge pump the previous owner burnt up. Snapped right into the bracket and works like a champ. Going on 3 months no issues!

Great pump, built very well but I wish the bottom half stays on a bit more sturdier. Does the job excellently and is very quiet.
