Looks very well made. Having both barrel jack andusb-c pd option is a nice touch since they’re easy to come by. Also lets you use it with a usb-c power back if it has sufficient wattage.

The display is awesome, and the form factor compared to bench supplies is amazingly compact. The value is pretty good considering these advantages. The only thing I don't like - since it can't boost voltage - it needs 1.5 volts + desired voltage as input to output desired voltage. This means that for devices I run requiring 24 volts, I need to find a supply 26.5 volts+ with a barrel connector. Note that most USB type c adapters for laptops are 20VDC - so unless you require less than 20volts you'll need to do what I did. I was able to find a starlink 30VDC adapter, and modify the barrel connector to fit this - but it required soldering and was a pain. Now I can output 24VDC.

I was looking for an ultra small, usable power supply for my field work and found this. It really does help gat it claims, and pumped 4A at 19V with ease. For an hour. I was waiting for something to get hot or fry, but it didn’t. Nice accurate controls and many configurable options. One thing to know is that you do need the optional wall plug to get the higher voltages. I didn’t understand that at first. Otherwise, it will reference the highest voltage you supply it and will reduce from there. It’s really small and well made. I own many of their products and this did not disappoint. The DPOX180H is so good, I bought too!

UPDATE TO 1 STAR! This thing is so noisy it is useless for powering anything but a purely resistive load. Was having a lot of trouble getting an MCU to boot reliably @ 5vdc from this supply. Turns out it has a ~200mv constant noise component at about 263hz and some spurious noise that can get to over 480mv. I tried a few different power sources to rule that out as a possibility. Its definitely the DPS-150. Maybe I just got a lemon.It generally works, and looks nice but thats it. As usual, Fnrsi products are designed to look premium, but are not actually particularly premium. Firstly, the micro USB port (this should be Type-C as well) for PC control is not aligned with the housing cutout, and I cannot insert a cable. Cannot simply be pushed in to place. It appears the housing was machined incorrectly. Secondly, the display itself is horrible. Typical low quality TFT display with poor color and the worst viewing angles possible on an LCD. This is true with all Fnrsi products. A few dollars added to the consumer to put a much nicer IPS display would be acceptable to most I think. Even as much as $20 for a nice AMOLED. Thirdly, as with other Fnrsi products, the button navigation could not get any worse. It is not intuitive and you actually end up using the manual just to do basic navigation. With as many buttons as this thing has one it, there is no excuse for the poor usability. All that said, I would have given it 4 stars if it were not for the misaligned USB port. That is a big 2 star hit IMHO. I would be willing to pay $100+ for this with an AMOLED display, USB Type-C for PC connection, a USB C output on the front. As it is, is feels cheap, and not well executed.

This little DC power supply is awesome to use with your PC. I can use a USB-C 20 V 6.5 amp laptop charger to power it and it is great for fault. Finding on laptop motherboards. I use it for my YouTube videos. That way I can display everything on my screen. Definitely worth it. You can even use an additional DC power supply to power it over 20 V if needed. If you have a DC power supply already and want to be able to have that data on your PC for recording. This is also a great little additional tool.

Interesting piece of hardware. Pair with a nice power supply brick or a power delivery battery and you have a portable piece of lab equipment. One use I've found is trying to revive lithium ion batteries in a fire pit incase they go south.

I wasn't impressed with this power supply! it didn't make very clear at all that it required an actual power supply to do anything at all.This is where the next bit comes into play: even if you do have a power supply, and to power this power supply you lose every notion of input protection output protection short, circuit protection, etc., because - well, this unit has absolutely no control over the power supply feeding it, and secondly, it's extremely delicate when it comes to taking power from the power supply feeding it, as all the other reviews very clearly portray.I feel as though I was insanely misled, and to make matters worse I couldn't find a single power supply out there that was one of the GaN variants that even matched the specs of this unit; Meaning you're not taking full advantage of what this unit can do, because there isn't a power supply out there that really possess those specs. Furthermore, most of the power supplies that I was able to find all have several different power output configurations they support, but in no way shape or form are those power supplies made to variably and dynamically switch from the lowest output they can offer to the highest output they can offer, and are instead intended to be either one or the other of the values or configurations that they support.There's another listing where they supply the power supply along with this unit, but even then - that power supply is limited to the same extent that the others I could find are, and even more than that: Yo even get close to providing what this unit can support you need to make very sure that the power supply that you do get has only one USB-C port that supports its maximum and as well it's minimum, because most of the power supplies available that have more than one port are showing you a maximum amount that it can output based on a combination of all the ports being used simultaneously (i.e. USB-A can do 35w, USB-C can do 65w, so total it can do 100w).As an added nuance, the fact that you can't simply buy the power supply that they offer for this unit in another listing - together with the unit - separately, by itself, is just annoying.In the end this unit is a gigantic waste of time, largely confusing, and you'd be much better off just buying a variable DC power supply that is all in one and even provides and offers several other options including waveform editing, etc..I do not recommend this unit unless it's exactly what you want, however, if you ask me - it's just a glorified voltmeter and amp meter.
