UPDATE: I've been using this adapter daily for about 6 months, and one of the USB ports no longer works at all. The old keyboard I mentioned below was never the issue; the adapter is faulty. As such, I've reduced my initial 3-star rating to 2 stars. I'll be replacing this adapter at some point soon with something of much better quality.Pros: Product works decently well to connect external keyboard (USB), USB flash drives, and for Thunderbolt power cord to charge MacBook. I have not had any issues with it not reading USB flash drives.Cons: I don't like the fact that the Thunderbolt and USB cords don't seat all the way into the adapter - you can see part of the silver connector visible when cords are fully plugged in (see photo), and this poor fit leaves them prone to being disconnected or broken when bumped. Plus, it looks bad.The color of adapter does not match my 15-inch space gray MacBook (see photo).The adapter's vertical height is odd - it is higher than the base of the computer when the laptop is open, and much shorter than the computer when the laptop is closed.Additionally, my (very old) external keyboard that is connected to the adapter via USB occasionally seems to not communicate well with the computer. Occasionally, it's a bit slow and glitchy, but usually it's fine. However, I don't know if this is due to the keyboard's age or the adapter.

below is my first review after using the adapter for a couple weeks. I am updating my review reducing the stars to just two as I am having issued with this adapter that make it almost unbearable. The slightest movement of my laptop and its connection is compromised. I am constantly being warned I've ejected my flash drive without ejecting it first. And what streaming video I end up losing my connection momentarily until it pops back up. I will be looking at other adapters as this moo longer fills my needsOriginal review:I like this adapter a lot. Its small enough to barely be an issue plugged into the side of my MacBook. Seems to have every port I could ask for on it. HDMI port has monitor mirror or extended monitor feature which is nice. it matches my space grey MacBook and fits perfectly. Have yet to find an issue with this purchase

It worked well for a while, but after a few months, a slight touch on it causes the usb connection to be interrupted without completely removing it.

Connecting an apple keyboard USB to the USB port on the HUB, the macbook will not recognize the keyboard. Reboot, reset, will not workOther USB C port to hdmi monitor will not pick up video signal.Cool design of product, but faulty ports

Just received the product and out of two usb-c ports one does not work. The company might have sent a dysfunctional product otherwise it’s great and within price range

Ho acquistato un MacBook 13’ retina una settimana fa..per la foga avendo già avuto un Mac 🖥 ma l’all in One ero convinto che avesse le usb classiche..accorgendomi invece di due sole porte usb tipo c..allora cercando acquisto seguendo le tante positive recensioniquesto adattatore uno SPETTACOLO!!! Piccolo stesso colore satinato del macbook 💻 quindi sembra una prosecuzione del pc stesso led bianco per farti capire che sta funzionando..l’ho preso da 5 porte perché sufficienti per me..anche i copri connettori in plastica per non rovinare gli stessi..5 stelle super meritate l’attacco al Mac impeccabile non si muove per niente. Amazon ovviamente per spedizione ed imballaggio una conferma ordine dopo ordine.

Ho ordinato il pezzo i primi giorni di settembre con l'opzione di spedizione più veloce, tuttavia l'articolo è arrivato con quasi una settimana di ritardo rispetto alla data prevista. Inoltre, una volta inserito nel MacBook l'unica porta funzionante era la USB-c per ricaricarlo, tutte le altre invece erano difettose e quindi inutilizzabili per collegare i dispositivi (mouse e HDMI per collegare la TV) che uso solitamente negli altri PC senza problemi. In sostanza 30€ buttati. Sconsiglio assolutamente!
