These are the perfect size for kids ouchies and to hold with little hands or adult help. They're cute and sparkly which helps with distracting an upset toddler which is very much appreciated, makes it a much less scary ordeal for them. Since they're gel they are a bit more malleable and have more flexibility to say hold around a shin or elbow curve. Even cold there's a bit of give. I'd recommend this even as a gift to new parents or caregivers to kids or even elderly people. I haven't been brave enough to try heating these yet as I have a new microwave and bad karma ( it says no more than 10 seconds heating time so keep that in mind with these ) I'm going to stick to using them chilly lol

This review is for the Kids Ice Pack, Hot or Cold Pack Gel Cooling Pad, Reusable. I like to call these boo boo bears in my house. We had a few different animal shapes when my kids were little for those times when they got a bump or even a mosquito bite. These small ice packs help to soothe the discomfort. My kids still use them in their teen years, and will even put them in their lunch boxes to keep things cold. These bears freeze quickly and I stuck one in my pocket to see how long it would stay cold, and after 30 minutes it was still cold. I have a baby shower coming up in a few months and I am going to buy a package of these as part of the gift

Per the instructions, these are NOT for the freezer, only the fridge or heating up in the microwave. I think being able to do both is a nice bonus, but I can't foresee a need to heat this up, I am more likely to need a cold pack than a hot pack.These are nice, very fun and cute, but they do not hold their cold temp for very long. On the bright side, there are 5 of them, but that means these are not for lunch boxes, only for a minor injury.To be honest, the fun color/look has stopped a few tears so that's worth it for sure!

The bright colors and fun shapes make them fun to use. The beads inside make them soft even when frozen, they don't get so cold that they "hurt" when they are used because they are too cold. These are great for bumps and bruises, even itchy mosquito bites are helped with these.

My littles LOVED these bear gel packs and I have to say, I agree with them too! The sparkles inside are a nice little touch for the kiddos - and even adults, as I love sparkle too, ha ha. They seem to be made of high quality and not easily popped or torn up. They are so cute, that I imagine when in use, they would likely take a child's mind off of the boo boo the gel pack is being applied to. Overall, for the price and how cute they are, I would definitely recommend them.

Booboos for little boo-boos. I'm liking these cute little bears. We use icepacks and these are the perfect size to keep in the freezer because these take up almost zero space. The bears we received have smooth, rounded edges which I like because it eliminates plastic cuts. The colors are bright, and the tiny stars/hearts imbedded in the gel are a nice distraction for our injured littles, or for when they perceive an injury. lol. We will all use these little cuties. This is a very nice item at a very reasonable price.

My four year old niece has this little reusable ice cube she has named boo boo bunny, but these are bigger and better that what she's used to. These boo boo bears do the trick whether it's a knee or face injury because they are soft.These are also not TOO cold when they come out of the freezer, which is a big factor for kids at times. They are cute colors and the little beads are squishy. Recommend.

We've started using small flexible ice packs a lot lately; they are great for kids and small scrapes, and can be batched together for larger needs. These Couleurs bear-shaped Kids Ice Pack, Hot or Cold Pack Gel Cooling Pad are fun for kids but also good for adults. These are just about palm-sized and the colors are as shown. They freeze as well as any of our other ice packs and that about as quickly as I expected, given how slim they are. Because they're small, they fit into narrow places in my freezer easily, and I expect to use these frequently. Recommend.
