The media could not be loaded. I was pleasantly surprised to find that none of the shells received were broken. They did seem to be a few pieces of broken shells included, but all of the bigger pieces were whole.Most of the shelves were 2 to 3 inches, with only a couple that were about 1 inch. My only disappointment is that the bulk of the shells received were in pinks and purples, with about a dozen in reds/rust colors. Only half a dozen of the shells were in orange hues and only two shells were yellows. I did like that they were colored or dyed, but did not appear obviously painted as all of the natural striation and markings of the shells were clearly visible, which resulted in lots of variation in color, tint and patterns.

This is a box of 60 smaller scallop shells. There are many pretty shells in the Box, but also there are some slightly broken ones and ones with Barnacles on them. Because this is a great value, it is not really important that there are a few chipped shells. I am happy to have this box of seashells to help me with my craft work!

These shells run from about 1.25" to 2.5". They are very clean and well preserved, not a lot of broken pieces. The colors are gorgeous and would enhance any decor or art project. The set is a little pricey but otherwise excellent!

I don't think it will matter for most applications - crafts and the like - but the decision to pack fragile shells together in a fairly flimsy box suggests a lack of interest in whether they arrive intact. Most did. Some didn't.
