So far I have been using this for 3 years and it has been serving well!Once you seal it, you can't smell any of your disposed items and I haven't gotten an attack from bears, so that proves something :)

We bought these before our trip to Yosemite. They kept the smell inside even with a garlicky dill pickle. They worked so well we never even saw one bear😉. I washed them in the top rack of the dishwasher and they are good as new.

I put my food and food trash in these bags when I went backpacking on the Appalachian Trail this Spring. They prevented any leakage into my other items, and provided a scent block for animals who may have wanted to get to know me and my food a little better, if you catch my drift.These worked great. My friend had recommended a competing brand, which was out of stock at Amazon in the size I needed at that time. I got these instead, and my friend said he thought they were as nice or nicer than the brand he recommended.Not much more to say here. They seal nicely, they keep odors in. Good product.

I got these for travel. I bring cooking spices and food due to a food allergy and need to make this myself or ask for no seasoning and do my own at the table. T last time in traveled with them in a regular ziploc my clothes smelled like garlic, basil, oregano and such haha. So I got these and no smell transfered in the suitcase! When I opened the bag up at our hotel it was so potent inside but no smell outside. I used the other bags to bring shampoo and toiletries in. I like how thick and sturdy they are, don't easily puncture and they stand up really good. So in the hotel bathroom the bags aren't just laid flat all over and they would stand erect like a bucket. So it was very useful to store things in the counter in them also. Then when it was time to go home they were still in great shape to transport everything home with no leaks. When I used gallon ziploc bags the bags would be damaged and unusable for the travel home and so was always bringing extra. So I may not use these bags for the full intended purpose of smell but in figure out they can keep the garlic smell in they will keep the liquids from leaking out.
