I really like this pearl necklace and earring set. They remind me of retro style jewelry with the wide choker and large oval earrings, but that's a good thing as they have come back in style. A wide short choker on the neck can be very elegant and flattering, and especially when the design is neat and balanced. The double strand of pearls look beautiful, of good quality, and the earrings coordinate well with the center oval pendant on the choker. I ordered this set for our upcoming cruise to wear on "elegant night" where everyone dons evening gowns to the floor and suits. This jewelry set will match perfectly. Also, with the lovely gift box, it would make a great gift for a woman or teen girl to wear for special occasions.

This set of a pearl choker and matching earrings comes very well boxed, which is nice for gifting. The choker is pretty, although I'd prefer the faux diamonds to be much smaller and more tasteful/believable. The issue I had is that when on, even at the tightest fit, the large pearl accent seems to droop outwards, rather than lying straight or slightly backwards onto the skin. I tried the choker different ways, including flipping it over, with the lobster clasp in the left hand, to see if there was actually a top and bottom to the necklace, but couldn't see a difference. The issue isn't huge, but I'd prefer the center stone not droop like it does. I don't think I'd feel comfortable wearing this. It's suitable only for a very dressy or formal occasion, yet I don't like its downward droop and I don't feel the brilliants in the choker are tasteful. I'll keep it for a costume. I got this set for the choker. I don't wear earrings. It seems very well made and looks really nice. I can't tell the difference between jewelry that is high end or low end. I only know when something looks nice and this set looks very nice. It doesn't look cheap at all. The clasp could be a little bigger to make it easier to attach and detach but other than that this is a really pretty set.
