Spinning Reel 30

These reels were once sold at a big box store. I can't get them any more. When I found them on Amazon, I purchased three. These reels survive salt water and heavy fish. Although the reel is rated for up to 10lb test line, I use 12lb. Ball bearings are excellent quality and very smooth. My first reel is going on 5 years under heavy abuse.

I bought this reel out of one of the big box retailer stores a couple of days ago and I am very pleased with the fit, finish and price that I paid. I sat there in the reel isle and compared this reel to other reels costing twenty dollars more with almost the exact same features. There were slight differences in specs as far as the test line size and the casting yards of each reel. I don't think those slightly different specifications make that big of difference for the average fishermen. By-the-way, I paid twenty dollars for it.

I used this reel for saltwater fishing from piers and i have caught 2 false albacore (6 lbs maybe 7) , tons or Cocktail bluefish and countless fluke and some scup...i have faith that this reel will last me a very long time with care. i have a ton of reels ,,some ive spent 100 bucks on...this is by far the best deal on a reel hands down...

Agreed with the quality (and value) of the reel. Basic reel that will last a long time.
