I took this to the beach last weekend, and it was great. The sound is really good, even when you're outside, and it got pretty loud without distorting. I didn't have to worry about it getting splashed, which was a relief. The battery lasted all day, and it was easy to connect to my phone. The lights are a fun touch for when it gets dark. It's small enough to throw in my bag, which is exactly what I needed.

I bought my 4th SciJoy as a gift. I have 3 and love them! The man we gave it to is not very good with tech gadgets because he's over 80. For even lowish tech savvy people it will be super simple to use right out of the box, but "oldies" might panic a bit. Fortunately we were able to explain the set-up steps over the phone when our older friend wasn't able to understand the instruction booklet text. The instructions are fine but describe components in terms that some people may not understand, like the use of the term "the ambient light". Like many older people, he has zero electronic gadget insight so he was describing every single thing that lit up "the light on top!!!". LOL Once I started calling them by names like: "the flashing disco light", "the big blue circle light", and "the tiny white dancing lights", we started to make progress. So 5 stars for the product, but the instructions could include more labeled diagrams for people who don't understand BT device lingo. Our elderly friend also has hearing loss and his computer's built-in speakers aren't loud enough for him, so he is thrilled to have this powerful new SciJoy. He said he "keeps losing his tiny earpods", and the new SciJoy will be "easy to find".

The battery did not last that long in this product. I would definitely not recommend it.

I honestly only ordered this because it was red. I love red! But I was pleasantly surprised by the sound and quality of this little speaker! I’m a blues, old country and classic rock rock kinda girl! This speaker is awesome! You will be surprised by the sound and quality!

This speaker delivers big crisp sound. It connects well, has a wide volume range, is a great size, and looks very high end. Quite pleased with this speaker.
