Autotek Professional Tough Durable Finish Spray Paint, Gloss Black Wheel Paint, 500 ml

After losing one of my wheel trims I decided to embark on a diy adventure to clean and respray my wheels and add new wheel trims. I hadn’t even noticed what a mess the wheels were underneath. After wire brushing them and cleaning them down, I used this product applying 2 coats to the wheels. The finish was smooth and very opaque. I bought 2 cans but only used 1 so very good coverage and still got one incase I need to touch up. Highly recommend for the price.

The paint is great - it was a perfect match for my gloss black alloy wheels. Its a lot better vlaue than buying a small pot of touch-up paint and as its an aerosol it should last a long time and not dry out like it would in a pot or bottle. Definitely worth spraying the paint into the lid (or you could use an old yogurt pot or jam jar) and then waiting a minute for it to thicken up. Before painting it over the scratch. I used a cheap artists fine brush so you don't get visible brush marks. It worked so well that I struggled sometimes to see where I had painted over when I was putting on the 2nd coat. I didn't need to use a primer or undercoat and painted it onto the bare metal. Its been on the car wheels for a while and it hasn't peeled off so I highly recommend it.

Bought a few of these cans for my wheels but decided to try it out first on my front and rear badge. If you sand the surface down properly and apply 3-4 light coats then you will get a great finish. I also used 1 coat of grey primer (same brand)

Wheels have been sprayed for a month now with paint remaining unchanged. Was perfect for use when filling and respraying my Wife's car's alloys. One note for those who want a factory finish, though: this product will give a darker matte finish than most alloys tend to have. As i means of smartening and preserving alloys on an old Nissan Micra, perfect. Would not use on a 'pride and joy'.

Does the job really well.

I bought this after having an unfortunate skid on an icey corner forcing my lovely alloys into a kerb.I have a gloss black finish on my alloys so the kerb rash showed up a bit more than silver. This gloss black spray was easy to use, quickly dried between coats (15 minites) and matched my current gloss black pretty well. I'm sure with some driving it'll blend in fully. You pretty can much only notice the difference at close inspection of with a good camera.Personally think it's a good price, for hiding marks. For scratches I just sprayed into a little tub and used a fine paint brush. Which also worked pretty well.After driving it it's really hard to find the kerb rash have to carefully feel around for imperfections. So safe to say this really did a good job. Can't fault the product yet (will update of anything crops up)

Very good paint i used 4 cans to repaint a set of 19" wheels it lays really well and is pretty thick so doesnt run easily, very forgiving and a great finish. I did solid prep and a prime before this coat and if you prep well the finish is excellent, i finished off with clearcoat for extra protection but highly reccomend this product for alloy wheel refurbs, i used hycoat gloss before this and this is way better in my opinion, good coverage and spray pattern even down to the end of the can.

A weak silver colour .But did arrived the next day.
