These seashells are remarkably uniform considering that they come from nature. The shells are a translucent white, almost all are exactly the same size and they are fairly lightweight - which is perfect for my project. They are also very flat, so that’s something to consider depending on your project/use. While there were some small bits in the package that had broken off in transit, all of the shells were in good condition and usable. This is a great set for my project.

Doing a lesson on baptism and so we painted the shells and had the kids take them home as a reminder of the lesson. turned out cute and the kids had a good time painting. We used acrylic paints and it turned out well- We then sealed them with modpodge and they should be a nice lasting memory

They're nice white scallop shells and they take paint very well! All of mine arrived in good condition, but I will say that you need to be careful when painting these. Something as simple as turning the item in your hand can flake the edges. Handle them carefully, choose a grip and stick with it. If you handle them a lot, you'll damage them eventually. For this reason I also suggest making indoor-only items with these shells, unless you are fine with them being eroded away by rain and wind.

These shells are a consistent white with some hints of color. There is a slight variety of sizes, but I'm finding the 2-3 inch description to be accurate. They are perfect for craft projects, but could have been packaged better. Luckily I didn't have much breakage, but it does seem like luck. These are a great value for crafting!

The shells are bright white, consistent in color. They are packaged in plastic bag. Because Amazon shipped the bag in a paper mailer, there were a few tiny pieces broken off the delicate bottom of the shell, but nothing noticeable for the crafts that I will use them for - this is a natural product after all. The size is perfect as a "small canvas" for my artwork. I am very pleased with these shells.

I'm disappointed.About a good third of them were broken as they were not packaged well. They were just put into a plastic bag that was wrapped in tape with zero padding.What a disappointment as the ones that are not broken are pretty.

As displaced Floridians living in the SW we love decorating with an ocean theme. These shells all arrived unbroken which is a minor miracle and are an incredible value considering their low cost. We’re having fun placing them in various outdoor and inside decors!

With something as fragile as a seashell, let alone 25 of them, it has to be a challenge finding a way to package them so they arrive intact. Well, this set did. Vacuum packed in two rows, lined up behind one another, they arrived unbroken, uniform in size (in the 2-3 inch size noted in the description) and bright white. Perfect. Well done!
