RuffwearTop Rope Dog Collar, Reflective Metal Buckle Dog Collar for Everyday Use, Basalt Gray, 14"-20"

Bought this for my 6 month old golden retriever. It’s a great collar. Buckle is super strong and the material is thick and extremely well made. My dog is about 58 pounds and it fits him perfectly. He seems totally comfortable in it and my wife loves the colors. The price was good and the collar itself doesn’t make any noise.

This is high quality and looks nice. Very good brand.

I feel secure that my husky pup won’t break this clasp. Gives me a safe feeling.

I got this collar because our dogs need new collars, and we have purchased other RuffWear products in the past and they are such great quality. We have 2 dalmatians that wrestle and play hard, and they had rubbed the reflective coating off their Kong collars after just a month (those are more expensive than the RuffWear by the way). I just put the RuffWear on one of my boys last night, so don't kniw about durability yet, but here are pros and cons so far:Pros:Great design - the metal buckle really does keep the leash clip at the back of the neck, making finding it so easy when needed. The buckle is easy to open and feels extremely secure - love that it's not plastic and won't break apart.Looks - love the look of this collar, it's simple and looks very attractive against my boy's white fur. Love the design choices, but wish they had more solid colors, like a true red.Reflective - I absoluty love that these have reflective stitching and not a coating like many other collars. This keeps tge reflective part from being rubbed off. The Kong collar's reflective part is super bright though, and I have to compare with the RuffWear when I get a chance. I like knowing if my boys got close to a road that they'd be easily seen.Cons:Thickness - this is a very lightweight, thin collar. I guess it needs to be light so that the buckle can stay hanging at the front, but it makes me wonder how long it would last if you had a chewer, ir rough dogs that pull on eachother's collars when playing (like mine). The Kong collars are thick and padded. The stitching is very well done though, so hopefully it will hold up.Tag holder- we'll see how this holds up. I wish a company would design a tag holder (which I love having separate from the leash loop) that was more reinforced and durable than a little piece of thin fabric and plastic... the Kong collar has a metal tag holder, but still only secured by fabric. My younger dal's was ripped off at the dog park one day, and the only way I found his tags was that another person saw it and clipped it to the dog park fence. Sizing - my bigger dog has a 19.5" neck, so I got the large. I had to make it as small as it would go, and that makes the plastic adjustment buckle have to lie right next to the leash clip. I guess I should've gone with the medium, but it said medium was for uo to a 19" neck... if I had to buy again, I'd get him a medium I guess.Other than those couple things, don't see any other cons - great collar overall and I'd recommend.

Luv luv luv the top rope they call it. It is a hook that stays on the top of dog collar . This is my third one for dog three. Sturdy and well made. Lasts.

I love the weight of this collar, it is sturdy and balanced - not heavy. I also am grateful for the silicon dog tag to muffle the sound of her other tags. The artistic design is beautiful and the materials are durable.Initially, I had a concern about the lock mechanism, as I had to push in the sides and jiggle it quite a bit to get it off. I was concerned about this and contacted the Seller. They responded quickly and shipped me a replacement. The new collar has a smoother transition when unlocking it which I feel is safer in case of emergency.The Seller was very helpful and restored my faith in this product and buying from them. (Thanks again!!)Overall, we love it (we also bought the matching leash *which is equally fantastic*) and I highly recommend these products and buying from the Seller.

Happy! Love the metal buckle. This type of buckle takes a little adjusting to and may take a few attempts. The collar has been wet, hand washed and air dried no problem. I love the pattern, appropriate for our desert living. Would like more reflection in it and prefer no plastic at all in next purchase. Happy with purchase for price and how quickly it arrived after her other one was lost.

i’ve waited several months before writing this, and i’ve got to hand it to this collar: it is tough. my dog goes hard every day, and i’ve had to wash this thing several times by now (in the machine, i don’t do hand washing). every time i do, it comes out of the washer looking like the day i received it in my mailbox. so far there is zero fraying (zero wear and tear of any sort actually) and the tags and hardware are still holding strong as ever. highly recommend.

Obviously it looks stylish and beautiful on my puppy. But furthermore it does what it states that does 90% of the time. The hook truly does seem to stay on the top of his neck due to the heavy buckle. The clasp itself isn’t the easiest to get off and on, but it is easy enough. I’ve seen some negative reviews regarding the class and people are just weird.

Für unseren Rauhaar-Jack-Russell haben wir bereits 5 Halsbänder von preiswert bis mittelpreisig gekauft. Eines war zu schmal, eines zu breit und groß, bei einem hatten wir Leine und Halsband ohne Hund in der Hand, als er plötzlich stoppte und rückwärts wollte (die Schnalle hatte das Halsband vergrößert). Irgendwie hat keines richtig gepasst. Mit diesem Halsband sind wir endlich angekommen.Positiv:+ Die Größe lässt sich passgenau verstellen, die Einstellung hält.+ Der dünne Verschluss aus vernietetem Metall hält die 6,5 kg Hund sicher.+ Die Metallhalterung für die Line ist klug gelöst. Durch eine Kunststoffschnalle steht sie immer mittig oben aufrecht und ist auch gut greifbar, wenn der Hund schnell ohne Leine gehalten werden muss.+ An einem separaten Ring oben rechts lassen sie die Hundemarken anbringen. Eine Silikon"marke" verhindert das Klappern bei zwei Marken.+ Ein Reflektorstreifen erhöht die Sicherheit im Dunklen.Nicht so gut:- An den Nieten des Verschlusses hängen stets einige Haare. Da sich unser Hund nicht beschwert hat, kann es sich jedoch um totes, zu trimmendes Haar handeln. Trotzdem wäre das Halsband mit einer Ummantelung des Metallverschlusse z.B. mit Silikon perfekt.Noch nicht bewertbar ist die Farbstabilität und die Haltbarkeit des Materials. Sollten sich hier Defizite zeigen, werde ich die Punkte nachtragen.Klare Kaufempfehlung trotz des hohen Preises von aktuell 46,06 €.

Fantastic collar. Nice little touches like the silencer on the tag ring. I was a little skeptical about the d ring attachment always facing up but it actually works! Plenty of space for pitpat/gps tracker (or both as for my dog) to be attached and doesn't affect the weight balance. Dirt and mud resistant, easy to clean and dries quickly. Taken in swimming pool and wild swimming regularly with no colour fade. Super comfortable and doesnt rub/thin coat like a lot of collars. Really great collar, very much worth the cost.

El collar es de buena calidad pero como dicen es caro, a mi lo único que no me gusta es el precio, como fuertes pues el diseño si te gusta claro, que tiene parte reflectante pero sobretodo es que siempre la anilla está arriba y además es muy grande y fácil de enganchar lo que le hace muy cómodo yo lo compre por eso , el cierre es de aluminio y se ve bueno aunque no creo que sea resistente al agua saldada, cuando esté en el mar usaré otro por si acaso.

I already had this collar for my Beagle and purchased this one for my son's Bluetick Coon Hound. It is very durable and I really like the metal clasp. No chance of the clasp getting opened by mistake.
