Easy to use, installed straight away, if you download the osram app for HomeKit compatible bulbs it will if needed update firmware. I set it up to work with my iPad as the hub, you can use Apple TV and the apple speaker as well, but it worked fine.I setup an automation to turn on in the mornings for couple hours and then in the evenings for nighttime.Only drawback is that iPad needs to be in the house for it to come on, if I am out with it then it won’t turn on because it runs off Bluetooth.I wanted it to work with my Philips Hue gateway, and the annoying thing is that the hue will control HomeKit bulbs but only if they are Philips, so it was annoying that the gateway didn’t even see it amongst the other bulbs, nor did the Osram Lightify Gateway as this is zigbee and not Bluetooth.But it’s ok if you have Apple TV or Apple Speaker anytime, or an iPad which is in the house at the time.I can control it from my iPhone as well to turn it on, off, and adjust brightness.It’s a good bulb, and if you have HomeKit functionality and other HomeKit bulbs, but for me I have loads of Osram bulbs all over house that work with my Philips, my SmartThings, Alexa and Google as well as my Osram Gateway, but only one lonely HomeKit bulb, but that’s my fault not the bulbs.It is a very nice filament bulb that I wanted for a lamp that you can actually see the bulb, but Osram only do this I think as HomeKit enabled and not zigbee so I had little choice.

Prior to this bulb we were a Philips Hue only house but not any more. The colour temperature is a little less orange and brighter than the hue filament bulbs which for hallway is perfect. It was so easy to add to HomeKit and works in all our automatons. I should point out that I frosted mine as I wanted the bulb shape but a diffuse light as it is in a hall.

Relatively simple to setup and get working with HomeKit alongside my existing Hue bulbs. Light temperature works well but colour seems limited (I’ve seen this issue mentioned on other bulbs). Only issue I’ve had is the status shows at not responding at times although does appear to operate, sometimes needing time to catch up colour changes

I like these so much I’ve kitted the house out, I use with my Apple TV as a hub, lights come on using my phone automatically when I come home, I’ve set up a movie scene which dims the hallway lights for easy toilet accesss, turns any light that reflects on the screen off and the rest to 5%, if you’ve got an apple ecosystem there is no other choice, it just worksForgot to say setup was surprisingly fast and easy just showed the code to my phone using the home app

I bought this in August and have used for a few months and now the product keeps failing. It keeps losing connection on HomeKit and keeps flashing random colours. The only way to fix is to delete it off device and reconnect it. Then the light works for 30 mins or so and fails again. It also seems to flicker slightly no matter what brightness you have it set to.

The bulb works well and is bright, however the biggest problem for me is that it doesn’t work with Siri. The bulb is powered by Bluetooth which means you need to be in the room to adjust it, and when you try to ask Siri to do it, or add to a shortcut, it simply does not work...

It’s nice and bright for a bedroom, but I prefer to have two of these lights for the colour changing features. Setting up through HomeKit is fine, however I’ve not been able to set it up in their app to update the lights firmware. I’m asked to scan a QR code but this is not in the box, so I have absolutely no idea what to do in regards to updating it.

This bulb connects directly to Apple HomeKit without the additional bridge required by some other lighting solutions, so is ideal for those looking to connect a limited number of bulbs for whom the bridge is a significant cost. Ours has worked faultlessly since installed. We use it both as a dusk-to-dawn hall light, but also to indicate status of other HomeKit accessories by its colour at any time.

La lampadina è molto bella, di forma allungata, effetto retrò con luce ambrata.Controllabile da app proprietaria o da Apple HomeKit - facilissima da inserire nei vai scenari, tempo di risposta della lampadina non velocissimo (qualche secondo di latenza)

Al final resulta mucho más cómodo una lámpara con conexión wifi (salvo que tengas algún tipo de centralita siempre cerca), y por otro lado, el casquillo que tiene sobresale mucho de la lámpara, por lo que si está en un sitio visible (como es lo más normal para este tipo de bombilla), no queda muy estético. Terminé comprando un modelo wifi que puedo controlar desde el móvil con google home, y con un casquillo normal.

He comprado dos de estas bombillas un poco desconfiado porque son realmente baratas y no tienen wifi (solo bluetooth). Me llevé una optima sorpresa porque se configuran muy facil y funcionan perfectamente con todo el ecositema apple, inculso el homepod. Recomiendo 100%. La unica nota negativa es que me llegó una de las bombillas ya utilizada (se notaba que la pegatina de seguridad habia sido abierta y habían huellas en el cristal de la bombila) pero funcionó perfectamente y la otra estaba intacta.
