Cartoon Network created Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends initially as a movie, but the show later became a regular tv show. The show's characters are the imaginary friends and humans who coexist in an orphanage that was originally designed for outgrown or abandoned imaginary friends where they reside until they can be adopted by another child.
