Perfect fit and great protection for the hands/arms
I used these yesterday for the first time welding. They provided great protection from the heat and sparks. They are good quality and I'm not sure why anyone would pay more for gloves when these do what is needed. The quality is great and the stitching looks good. A bargain buy for the price. A little difficult to manoeuver small pieces of metal due to the thickness of the glove but no worse than any other pair I have used.

Small fit this woman's hands
Bought these in a small, my glove size is 7.They are still roomy but they aren't going to fit tight when their job is to protect from heat and they are thick leather and padded. They are a little stiff but again thick leather and padding will do that. If you have fine delicate hands these are probably going to be too big for you but still 100 times better than the normal man size gloves. These are the best fireside gloves I've ever used and not simply because they are the smallest. The lining is really nice and, although it doesn't matter a jot, I love the bright red colour.I definitely recommend them as fire gloves, they protect you from the heat of a log burner perfectly.

Great value!
Quick delivery, small size a great fit. Comfortable to wear, able to lift hot coals with confidence. Great for anyone with a solid fuel stove, protection right up to elbows.

Good value Welding and Grinding Gloves
They are a bit stiff in the fingers to start with, but starting to get more flexible with use. I am reluctant to put leather balm on the them as they might go a bit too soft and sticky, time and use will be better. Occasionally a grinding spark does penetrate the wrist area but then I am grinding a lot of metal away very quickly and the hot sparks are big and fearce. This gloves are pretty good and worth the money. I was welding in them at close quarters for about 3 hours this week and they stood up well to the heat even when picking up hot metal rods, albeit for just a few seconds. !!I would recommend them for light duty and hobby type welding but the welder using them all day every day, might want something better.

proper sizing.
These are really nice gloves. i bought them for use when I'm smelting pewter. I was pleased to find the sizing was pretty much right on the money, I ordered large and they are a good comfortable fit. They seem very well made. Very happy with them. Delivery was quick. Oh and yes, I love the colour. Pity i'm going to make them all dirty really.

Absolutely brilliant
These are brilliant absolutely perfect for using with our multi fuel stove. They are a good fit and have a long gauntlet for the wrist/arms. I have bought other gloves but they have been either as long in the arm or as thick as these, very happy with them

These gave me minor finger burns lifting a casserole dish out of the oven.
I lifted a cast iron casserole dish out of the oven. It was 210 degrees C. Normally I bake bread in the wood fired oven in the casserole dish at 250 degrees C. These gloves, from their description should have managed that easily."Durable protection for hands and forearms in even the most extreme conditions."The fingers seem to have little padding. The palms are well padded.I gave 2 stars for comfort because the fingers were tight even though I bought large. I do not have very large hand.

A rare gem
Happy to find these gloves as finding heat resistant gloves that aren’t huge seems to be a very challenging task. Fit nice, comfortable, seem durable thus far.

Fantastic gloves for campfires, for cooking close to fires - Competitively priced for such a nice product.
I got these for my boyfriend for camping as one of his Christmas presents. I did a lot of research on the various types of gloves and decided these were the best bang for the buck. We just went camping this weekend, and they are apparently his favorite of all the presents I got him. He and our friend were both highly excited about these gloves and very happy with them. They are leather! They were able to grab burning logs out of the first and move them around to fix the campfire. I also used them with the cookware and was really impressed. One thing I will note, which is expected and explained in the directions, is if you hold something incredibly hot long enough, you'll start to feel it through the gloves. When I was pulling the cast iron skillet off the fire (which had been roasting for a long time), I could feel the heat slowly building up and had to put the skillet down within 20 - 30 seconds...but that was enough time for me to do what I needed.I also used the gloves with the utensils around the fire and arranging the logs. I'm so happy with them that I'm planning on buying a second pair to keep handy.Unfortunately, the second night it had rained and someone left the gloves out. They got soaking wet :(. There are special drying instructions, and we're waiting for them to dry out. Hopefully they hold up.Regardless, these are a really great buy for campfire gloves. My impression of this company is that it looks kind of new, and for that reason, they're offering a high quality product at a competitive price to penetrate the market - but that's just my speculation. Save yourself time researching, these will get the job done.
