The first thing I noticed upon opening the box is that the batteries ARE included! :)Then I dreaded flipping over the scale to see what kind of screwdriver I'd have to dig out, and I was pleasantly surprised to see that no screwdriver is needed to open the battery compartment! Whoo-hoo! :)I hadn't noticed online that the scale has a length measurement, too. The ruler printed on the scale matches up almost exactly with our household tape measure. Thumbs up for accuracy.I tested the accuracy by putting on some unopened bags of flour and sugar that had the weight printed on the bag. It's good. It didn't match the bags' printed weights exactly, but I think flour and sugar bags are typically a couple of ounces over, so I think that's where the difference is. Two thumbs up for accuracy.The controls are super-easy to use. The buttons are all well-labeled and the digital display is straightforward and easy to read. I didn't have to look at instructions to do a basic weight check. I like that the buttons are real buttons, not those weird flat non-buttons that most things have these days, so I get tactile feedback when I push a button. The buttons on the scale are flat on the surface, so they're easy to clean, but I can feel a click from an actual button under the surface. It's kind of hard to explain, but what matters is that the tactile feedback is there. I can even hear the click when I press a button. I appreciate the tactile feedback of the buttons!I looked at the instruction manual to see what other features there were. There's a "hold" button that is said to help with accuracy when the baby won't be still. Since there's no baby in the house just yet, I wasn't able to test the wiggly-baby feature, but it's good to know it's there.I also was not able to test the telephone application, since we do not use telephones. The scale itself works fine without a telephone, though.

The media could not be loaded. Especially hyper cats! This Grownsy scale is fantastic for my cats as they are all pretty much up in years and I need to keep an accurate check on their weight so their vet will know how their meds are working and if they’re losing or gaining weight.I love these because the tray leaves snap together so easily and snaps onto the scale soI can pick up a fur baby and place said fur baby on tray and it gives me a weight very quickly and if the fur baby is trying to squirm off the scale I can hit the tare button and still get a reading. But most of the time my cats don’t try to leave the scale tray especially the older ones they like to stretch out and lounge around on itso that I can’t immediately put it back under the bed! The box it came in is very nice to keep it in if you don’t use it every day.But this Grownsy scale can be used for the whole family really from infants to kids to teens and adults and yes for fur babies too! I love that it’s well made very sturdy simple to assemble and take apart, clear large digital readout, can measure in lbs, ozs, kgs, comes with 3 AAA batteries ready to install in the back and no screwdriver needed! The tray has ruling scale on it so easy to see how much your LO is growing. There’s even an app that can be downloaded but I haven’t tried that yet as I really just need this for my fur babies. But it’s nice to know that it’s there if I need it!Overall a very nice set of scales which as of this review had a really sweet coupon that makes these a very great deal for a great set of accurate scales! I LOVE the fact that it connects to an app so that you can keep a diary of weights over time. It is heavy enough to be sturdy but not to heavy to be cumbersome. It needs to be set on a solid surface for accuracy and for maintaining safety for the baby. FYI - I used this for my dogs (not a human baby), and it did a great job with their weight. This scale will now allow me to note their weight over time and will give me data about their health. I recommend this scale for its accuracy and sturdiness.

This scale has a lot going for it. It's primary function is to be used as a baby scale, but also converts to an adult scale and has a handful of other features packed into it. I was mainly interested in using it for weighing my youngest daughter, and it has proven fairly accurate for her weight (+/- 20 lbs), consistent with our adult scale and her measurements when visiting the doctor. The integrated measuring markings are a nice plus, and the fact that the sides fold in for easy storage without a total disassembly is nice.

This scale is simple, clean, light weight, easy to use and offers good range of weights up to 150kg. So it’s not going to be wasted because we can use for a whole fam.The trays offers up to 27in/69cm so for the most of average baby to early infant size can be measured w this easily.Not only for babies, but the weight scale can also be used our family’s body weight including the adults.Smooth surfaces and edges. Easy to read, easy to measure. It even comes w the battery to use right out the box.Good quality, and accurate enough. One of the essential households items.Happy with this scale.
