This is a great price for a solid metal autofill water. The build is solid. When properly installed, it can withstand a lot. It's not the highest quality of this type of drinker I have, but it's still very good. I've had no leaking issues and it fills well. I'm currently using it for goats, which are very rough on equipment.The drain hole is also a nice addition- good for cleaning it out (just remember to shut off the water source!). It's great that there's an extra float included too, though so far the metal flap has protected the first one well.

I ordered this and the hose would not connect to anyth incoming.Side so I ordered a second one and I got the same damn results

We have ordered a lot of these and they are all pretty much standard with some having additional floats (like this one) and others providing quick connects which is often needed to convert to the right hose threads so they will fit. I so wish the manufacturers - all of them, would use a standard hose connection but it is rare to find one.So may I suggest to the seller - add both sides of a quick connect so it is easy to connect to a standard garden hose threads. The price is lower than most especially when you consider the extra float is super spendy if you purchase it separately. Not many sellers include an extra float.Well made and as I said - really good price. We use these in the summer for all of our animals - rabbits, chickens, horses, cows, etc.
