Really great solid hook

The first surprise is that these appear to be powder-coated rather than anodised, which is odd for aluminium parts. However the finish is decent and there are no major blemishes. It likely won't last as long as anodization, but given the low pricing I'm not going to mark it down for this.The hooks are also very consistent in dimension between samples; though they're all slightly larger than advertised; 35.2mm deep/tall and 20m in diameter. Not a big deal for this kind of product, but worthy of note.Since they haven't noted it in the listing, the thread inside the hook bodies is M5 and just under 16mm deep, which means if you're mounting these to a wooden board and can use longer M5 bolts (not supplied), you'll get a very strong fit.However the provided screw/thread combo fittings are only around 25mm deep in total; ~5mm of which is M5 threaded.I don't doubt the aluminium hooks themselves can handle 5KG; but the supplied fittings just don't seem up to the task. The hex socketed ends are too week to drive the chunky (but short) screw section into wood. These should have been torx-headed and of a larger diameter.Given the low cost, I still think these are great value; but I would strongly suggest mounting them to a decorative plank of wood from behind with longer countersunk M5 bolts; then mounting the plank to the door/wall with more substantial screws.

A review from the wife... I needed a compact way to hang my towels in a fairly small downstairs cloakroom and these fit the bill well. You get five black towel hooks in this pack. They are easy enough to attach to the wall. They are small but do the job well of holding a hand towel. The price is very reasonable.

I got these to fix to one of my kitchen units so the wife can hang her tea towels etc on.As a hook for hanging such things then these will be great, they will do exactly that..but my issue was with the fixing screws.To fix these, they come with a screw which is screwed into your wall etc with a allen key ( supplied ).. Im going to be honest here with the screws as I wasnt using the rawl plugs which are supplied with the fitting.I wanted to fix these to a wooded panel so decided to drill a pilot hole first so I could wind the screw in with the allen key. Well, within 1 turn ( and the hole was the right size in the wood ) the allen key hole in the screw rounded off.. not good.I believe if you were fixing these into plasterboard / brick work and used the rawl plug provided, then I think these will be perfect, but for me, I found how the screw rounded off so easy a little concerning.Anyway, the product itself is nice, very compact and doesn't project from the wall a lot.. which is nice.Once the screw is in the wall then you just simply screw the hook straight onto it.. easy peasy

Estos ganchos eran justo lo que estaba buscando para los vestuarios que hemos puesto en mi trabajo. Van a estar instalados tanto dentro de las duchas como fuera, y son perfectos para colgar albornoces, toallas y ropa. A pesar de ser pequeños, cumplen su función perfectamente y tienen un diseño minimalista que me encanta.La instalación es sencillísima. Aún no los he colocado, pero vienen con todas las piezas necesarias y no tienen ninguna complicación. Además, las toallas suelen tener una cinta para colgarlas, y en estos ganchos se sujetan perfectamente.Me gusta mucho el acabado negro mate, tiene un aspecto elegante y está bien terminado. El set incluye 10 unidades, suficientes para cubrir todas las necesidades. Questi ganci per asciugamani sono veramente ben fatti: colore nero opaco, nessuna sbordatura e tutto l'occorrente per poterli installare, comprese viti e fischer. Non sono molto grandi per cui se ci mettete degli asciugamani grandi potrebbero cadere, ma sono perfetti invece per asciugamani medio-piccoli o magari per degli stracci della cucina.Ipoteticamente, se abbinati ad altri ganci più grandi, potrebbero anche rappresentare una ottima alternativa per appendere dei cappotti.Consigliati? Si!
