Volume Lighting V2343-33 Bowl Pendant, Brushed Nickel Finish

I love this, exactly what I wanted.Why three stars? It came with no instructions and missing a couple of the mounting screws. Happily, this isn't my first light fixture, so I'm not worried, but still. I have the screws on hand but don't like that the light didn't come with them already. I also have to figure out how things fit together from looking at the product page's photo. I feel like I shouldn't have to do that and wonder if this is a return item. If I hook it up to electricity and the lights don't work, I might have my answer.Bottom line, lovely product but either get an expert or know what you're doing before you press the buy button.

Beautiful pendant (5-star), but the installation instructions left a bit to be desired (2-star). The instructions consisted of a single sheet showing an 'exploded' view of all the parts, but for a different styled lamp than what I purchased. So I had to figure out which parts on the picture mapped to the parts I had in my hand. If the instructions had been more IKEA-like, I think I would have avoided several mistakes along the way. Fortunately the mistakes were reversible and I eventually got it all figured out and the fixture is now installed. I love that it has sockets for 3 100-watt light bulbs. Plenty of light for where I'm using it.By the way, the first one I ordered arrived totally shattered, which not surprising considering the way it had been packaged. I ordered a replacement that arrived the very next week in good condition, despite having been packed the same way. (phew!)
