a very nice smelling rodent repellent
Down at the hunting property, I've have packrats get into the tractor twice and my truck once. They chew wiring and cause a lot of damage.I've got some dehydrated blood rodent repellent from another seller on amazon. It gets mixed water (so its like fresh blood again). It works well. When freshly mixed the smell isn't too bad. But after they chewed the truck the only stuff I had handy was mixed over a month ago. It smelled very very bad. I'll spare you the graphic comparisons. Use your imagination. Yeah, its that bad. I sprayed it on the engine bay anyway because I didn't want the rats chewing my late model truck. I was hoping after it dried the smell would go away. Once dried, the smell definately lessened, but its still there.ok story time over. Suffice it to say, I'm in need of an effective rodent repellent that doesn't smell bad. I pressure washed the truck this morning, and sprayed this stuff on. It has a very nice peppermint smell. Its not overpowering so if you don't like peppermint you won't find it objectionable. But if you like peppermint, the smell is very nice. The spray bottle works well. It sprays a fine mist. The bottle was well sealed and in a bag. So no issues in shipping. If the rodents chew the truck wiring again, I'll update this review. But if there's on updates, you can assume the rodents haven't been back in the truck.

I Hope it Works!
The jury is still out on whether this solution effectively repels rodents, but as things have cooled down in our neck of the woods we haven't seen any mice yet... So, maybe it is doing the job for which it is intended? Time will tell on that front!Based on my initial experiences with this product, I have two key takeaways. First, the product has a decent aroma to it, which doesn't make folks want to clear out of areas where it has been applied. Second, that is a very good thing because applying this stuff is MESSY. This is almost exclusively due to the poor quality of the cap and sprayer that come with this jug. Like many hand pump spray bottles in the market today, this thing leaks and drips like mad. As such, expect to get it on your hands, shoes, and floor when you are applying it... The process leaves plenty to be desired! With the above in mind, I give this product a 4/5 star rating. If it works as intended, that's where the rating will stay. If not, I will update the review with more results. If the cap and sprayer were of better quality I would leave a 5-star rating... but not with this current setup!

Good quality
I am so impressed with this Rodent Repellent Spray! The natural peppermint formula is not only effective against mice, rats, and squirrels but also safe for both people and pets, which is a huge relief. I’ve tried several products in the past, but this one really stands out.The 1-gallon size is perfect for tackling multiple areas around my home. The sprayer makes application easy and precise, allowing me to cover all the entry points and hotspots. I noticed a significant decrease in rodent activity shortly after using it, which speaks volumes about its effectiveness.I also love that it’s a natural solution, so I don’t have to worry about harmful chemicals around my kids or pets. The peppermint scent is refreshing and not overpowering. Overall, this rodent repellent is a fantastic product that truly delivers on its promises. I highly recommend it to anyone dealing with rodent issues!

This is about the BEST solution possible for mice - it's not poisonous, and is effective
I have seen several "experiments" online by people who use the mint scent to get rid of mice - and it really does work. The mice will NOT stay where the peppermint smell is, and most of the time, won't even go there to begin with. After seeing the videos, I used cotton balls soaked with peppermint to test it myself. And it worked really well! I just can't stand the glue traps, that is just so inhumane - no living being should be tortured like that IMO. The poison isn't any better, it causes a miserable death also. Traps, well, sometimes they kill them instantly, sometimes they suffer. There are the live traps, but I don't see the sense since as soon as you release them, they come right back. So, the peppermint is the best solution I have ever tried. The problem with the cotton balls is the peppermint dries quickly and the smell is gone in a few days, and when the smell is gone, the mice are back. This spray is strong - the smell is almost overpowering at first. But it's mint - it's strong, but still a good smell and harmless. The spray seems to - at least 10 days - and no sign of mice anywhere. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!!

Good Spray; Bad Nozzle
This ~ARFEN Rodent Repellent Spray with Sprayer – Effective Powerful Natural Peppermint Formula, for Mice, Rats, Squirrels, Rodents, and Animal. Safe for People and Pets. 1 Gallon Ready to Use~ is a lot like another mint spray that we have used in the past. It pretty much works under the same principles: Mice and small animals don't like the smell of it. But I do, so that is why I have been using the sort of repellent. The price on this is very good and I used it on 3 of our cars in the engine compartment, the wheel wells, and even sprayed the mats that are on our garage floor. Peppermint has worked in the past and I am assuming and hoping this will work too. We will be doing the spraying once a month. The only thing that was a bummer, but not a show stopper, is the nozzle barely pumped and the spray flow was sporadic. But, I had a little bit of peppermint rodent spray left over in another spray bottle and just refilled it with ARFEN Rodent Repellent Spray. Simple. Note that my husband also sets up traps in the corners of the garage and behind the freezer too - sort of like a first line of defense.
