Why it's Better Than Brand Name Line
I commonly fish over reef, rock or structure, usually in 180 to 240 feet of water, 10 hours per day, 6 to 8 days per month. No matter which line I use starts to look ragged after 2 months whether I pay $50.00 or $15.00, they all fray.I'd rather buy this brand, at this price and not feel bad about changing it out after 6 to 10 trips.Look at That Fish... I caught it and a hundred others with one roll. I'm on roll number 2 right now. Best choice I ever made. I can't believe how much money I've wasted at Sporting Goods Stores over the years..Update: after 6 trips, it was beginning to look a little ragged but no more or less than brand name line. In fact, this brand retained it's color but is fraying a bit where I'm scraping wreck all day. I was going to change it before this last (24 hour) trip but didn't have time.We caught over a hundred dinner plate sized Porgies, most two at a time, on the last day of the 1st rolls life. I could have easily cut off twenty feet and continued fishing but I'm swapping line today. I'll get another 6 to 10 weeks from the 2nd roll and both, together (in a lightning deal) still didn't cost half the price of one roll of the brand name stuff. One roll of the brand name line would otherwise be withering away and I wouldn't have changed it until my 1st line break. I'd be out 60 bucks and have nothing to replace it with. I buy a backup roll or two with every purchase it takes a little while to get here from China, but once you get a rythm going they arrive regularly enough. Allow two weeks minimum. Frwanf Braided Fishing Line - 15# test - 300 meter - .18mm
Frwanf Braided Fishing Line - 15# test - 300 meter - .18mmI'm the first to review this product, because this Chinese braid is new to the scene. I will try to do it justice and show no bias. The price in not so low it is a steal and we may have to get used to that in the future as Chinese products are fast catching up with western prices. It is priced somewhat lower than other offerings I have purchased and a couple dollars is a reason to consider this product for purchase. The amount of line is substantial for this price and White is not always available. The feel is a little stiffer than some other braids and not as curly. I don't mind the line showing less twisting as long as it is strong enough and casts well. Frwanf needs to have an English speaking employee do the write-up and the labeling descriptions for their products. I feel awkward for them. Strength is a little less than other 15# braids I have used and can't say it cast any better or worse than my favorite. After more use, I'll return and update this review.

Actually very decent braids
This braids at 8 pounds was stronger than my power pro 10 lb. The dia was 0.12m on this line. I tied a San Diego jammer knots on both ends one to the scale the other one to a d-ring. On a straight pull it snapped at 18 lb and not at the knot. I picked up the multicolored 8lb 0n sale for 3 dollars so now I have 3 spools and I am happy with it. The line is round not flat, trust me I had some Chinese braid and the line was flat it was horrible not the case here. Cast great the color fades but not to fast but I don't care about that. I keep a sharpie color the leader black.

Good line for the price, for bass or saltwater fishing.
I am generally a bass fisherman but I also do some saltwater fishing. I wanted some colorful line to spice things up. This line has appreciable break strength but very little shock strength or abrasion resistance. I am not docking that from the products rating, as most braided line is like this. I would recommend a mono or fluoro leader to accompany this line, so you don't lose a lure or rig on a rock or by a botched cast.I have spooled this line on a freshwater baitcaster as well as a surf reel. I would recommend some electrical tape on the reel before you spool on the line so the line doesn't slip when a fish pulls line.

Good value.
Having a serious addiction to fishing, LOL, I have tried many of the name brand braid lines I thought I would give this brand a shot.Surprised to report that’s it is the real deal. Smooth, and packed on the reel very nice, good knots and a very good breaking strength.I caught some nice jacks, and they are very good test of equipment.I will purchase again.

Garbage, don't buy.
This line is garbage. After 1 day of use, went out the next day, and twice while casting, the line broke, causing me to lose 2 nice spinner baits. I've tyed a million knots, has never happened before. Buyer beware.

Not impressed, after a hundred or so casts from ...
Not impressed, after a hundred or so casts from open face reel the line became so twisted that it was twisting around itself when i would cast out. Stripped line off reel and threw the rest of the line away. Tried 2 reels full but both had the same issue.
