I bought this doorbell to replace a well known doorbell which kept dropping out from my WiFi which has an excellent signal, even though the doorbell was only 4 meters from my router.Their customer service response was to buy a WiFi booster, which is not very helpful and costly, even though I have to pay nearly £50 a year to get the activated video.I chose this video doorbell as it had good reviews and takes an SD card to record various actions and, best of all, an excellent price and no annual fee.I can’t be more pleased with my purchase. The original doorbell took a number of seconds before it warned me of any movement etc. This is nearly instantaneous and the quality is excellent.You can programme it individually for Motion, Animals, Vehicles and People, and change sensitivity and distance easily. When the bell is operated it gives alerts my phone immediately, allows me to see who it is, and converse with them if I need to.It is relatively easy to set up and connect to Alexa.All in all an excellent quality product.

I’ve been using the TEPO TD21 battery video doorbell for a few weeks now, and I’m genuinely impressed. Setup was very easy, the instructions were clear, and the app connected to the doorbell without a hitch. The video quality is surprisingly sharp, even at night, and the wide-angle lens gives a great field of view.One of the biggest wins is the motion detection, it's responsive without being overly sensitive, and I appreciate the customisable zones to avoid false alerts from passing cars. The two-way audio is clear and loud enough for real conversations, not just muffled sound like with some cheaper models.The battery life is great so far. After moderate daily use and some motion alerts, it’s holding a good charge and hasn’t needed a recharge yet.Overall, the TD21 offers excellent value. It has the key features of much pricier models without skimping on performance. If you’re looking for a reliable, wireless video doorbell that gets the job done this one’s a winner.

It's a much better security video doorbell than I was anticipating. Having had a problem with Eufy functionality, I assumed that all video doorbells were similar. Not so it seems.The video is ok with 2K. The audio is very good. Motion detection is what I expected - accurate. Fairly easy to set up. Took hours to charge the doorbell.

Was easy to install and the angled mounting plate was very useful to fit on the wall at the side of the door. The camera angle is wide and the picture is crisp. Even the night vision is great. App is easy to install and you can get the bell ring and view the camera remotely from anywhere using the Internet. You can install the app on as many smartphones as you want. More than 3 weeks and the battery has 78% charge remaining. Could not ask for a better product.

Bought this camera and was so impressed with the quality and price, i bought another. I have a few outdoor security cameras too, iegeek, yi , septikon, and they all work ok but some have missing features found on these tapo cameras, i now have 2 tapo doorbell cams, and 2 indoor cameras, Tapo have all the features i need, Alexa, 24hr recording, sd card slot, easy setup, and none of the features hidden behind a paywall via subscription. I recommend Tapo cameras and in the future i will always look to buy them over other makes.

I thought that buying a video doorbell would be a simple process. The usual brands selling in excess of £100 withIndoor chime extra all seemed to require a power supply of some kind. So I looked at Tapo £50 quid including chime and thought why not.When the package arrived I was extremely impressed with the quality and presentation and the fact that everything covering all of the installation options were included. The doorbell itself is a high tech well made piece piece of kit and the indoor chime is compact and unobtrusive.Installation was simple as I already had the Tapo app covering cameras at another location and it was just a case of + Add a Device and follow instructions.Having got the doorbell up and running I then experimented with various locations around my front door. My door is set back within a closed sided porch and as such gives the camera a very limited field of view. Having tried both sides of the door , with and without the wedges I decided to drill fix and mount it sideways (without wedge)onto the sidewall of the porch.The result was perfect , not only could I see the face and profile of any caller , I could see the front door and step, driveway and gate , letterbox , glass and key hole. This doorbell camera was also able to detect person activitywalking up from the driveway , which is something my external (well known brand) couldn’t do.

We had a ring doorbell but after price increase was looking for an alternative that doesn’t require a subscription. We already have other TP products, so I got this doorbell as a replacement. The picture quality, especially at night, is far superior. The micro sd card has to be formatted in the device, but recording is reliable and you can customise clip length etc. Connecting to Wifi was fairly easy (if you have issues, reboot your router) and adding it to Alexa was a breeze. It has all the other “fun” options like seasonal greetings, it even works with my Apple Watch to answer calls when out and about. All the functionality a ring gives you minus the extortionate subscription. (I have added a privacy zone to neighbouring property, photo is just to show quality of night time footage and viewing angle)

It's easy to install. Picture quality is pretty good. Only problem is that the notification when the bell is pushed is very slow.
