We needed to replace our kitchen faucet and have a sink and backsplash that limited our options. We really like this one, and it looks great. We love how far it easily stretches, and love the simple switch to change from stream to spray. What we have become really annoyed with is the need to find the "sweet spot" to turn the faucet completely off. One must really pay attention when turning it off to find that exact position, or it will continue to stream water until that sweet spot is found. We wouldn't buy this again for that reason, but otherwise we like the design and appearance.

Nice looking, but tends to be easy to allow to keep running when you think you’ve turned it off. Not an ideal faucet. You need to be sure it’s off.The faucet drip cannot be fixed. Unless you always pay attention to turning it off, it's going to run or drip. Since it's from Amazon, we can't return it, and it is a DUD! Do not buy this faucet unless you want a high water bill and want to buy another faucet.

I hope I'm going to like it. When I can eventually install it.When I opened the box and started to go through installation instructions, the first thing I read is that one needs to have a stabilizer plate if one has a thin counter or if a faucet is to be installed on a sink itself. Well, I have to install my faucet on my stainless steel sink.The problem is, the stabilizer plate is not included in the faucet kit, and there is no mention of it in the product description on Amazon.So, I go on internet in search of this stabilizer plate, which, unfortunately, is nowhere to be found.At last I found it on a website of some plumbing supply place. I order it. They say it'll be shipped within 2 weeks. Two weeks later they send me e-mail saying that they can't get anything from Delta company due to shipment delays from China, and they hope they'll be able to fill my order in the next 6 weeks. It is 8 weeks from the date I have ordered my stabilizer plate.And all this time I have to live without running hot water in my kitchen because my old faucet is broken and only cold water runs from it.I put 4 stars in this review because in my experience Delta faucets are generally really good. But I'm really disappointed that there is no mention of stabilizer plate in the description. I'll look for some faucet that doesn't require it, and most probably it'll be Delta faucet. But now I'm stuck with brand new faucet I can't install for quite a long time.

UPDATE: After seven months of use, I still hate this faucet. It did not improve with my getting used to it. It is ridiculously annoying to turn off the water flow because it only cuts off when the handle is set at a very specific spot. I see other reviewers made the same comment, so there is no defect in my unit. When busy cooking, I turn the water on and off frequently, but turning off this faucet is not a quick movement of my hand. Also just as I said in my original review, it's practically impossible to set water temperatures in between hot and cold. It can be done, with time and a lot of wasted water, but it sinful to waste water in my drought region. I strongly recommend against this faucet. Unfortunately, I cannot afford the several hundred dollars to replace it.ORIGINAL REVIEW: Okay at best or hate this faucet. Actually I wish I didn't own it. I find it unattractive because the whole arched piece is very thick, definitely lacks grace. The truly hateful aspect is that shutting the water off requires thoughtful attention. I don't like having to concentrate to do a simple task that should happen without thought. The handle has to be aligned "just so" to actually cut off the water. There have been a few times in the week I've had this faucet installed when I came later to the sink to find the water running. I knew this could be an issue with this faucet and thought I was being careful, but it seems EXTRA thought and attention is required.I am unaccustomed to the pull down hose which catches on the shut off valve handle under the sink. I ordered the Moen hose guide  Moen 159060 Hose Guide  and will update this review about that item. Making something would likely be better, but I don't have time now, and I have to have something because I can't really pull down the sprayer. My last negative comment is about controlling the water flow and temperature. Hot and cold are easy, in between I can only achieve by also reducing the water flow.Wow, writing this review is making me realize I really do hate my new faucet. It was my choice only because I wanted the separate handle, and it was nearly impossible to find this style. I saw the ugly arc when the faucet arrived, but hoped that once installed, it would grow on me. It hasn't. I will live with it, but I do not recommend it to anyone else.UPDATE: The Moen Hose Guide solves the problem I had with the sprayer hose catching on under sink plumbing. I'm glad I got that (but I still hate my faucet.)

This is my second Leland Delta faucet. It looks beautiful when it isn't dripping. My first faucet leaked that's why we replaced it. This one also leaks after just 4 months of use. So disappointed. It is super annoying to turn off. You have to have it in just the right spot to turn off. Please Delta make a better kitchen faucet!!! With the holes already drilled in my granite I had a hard time finding a replacement with the tap and faucet for 2 holes and this was about all I could find.
