As advised, I tested the phone pouch out before real world use, as you can see in my attached photos. The pouch is rated IPX8, meaning you should be able to submerge it to 1 meter (roughly 3 feet) without water getting in. The pouch comes with tissue paper so I left that in the pouch for the test. I placed the pouch in the sink and let the faucet spray on it at high volume until the sink was full (about 1 foot). The pouch comes pre-inflated; you cannot deflate or inflate it. I was worried about how well it would float as the inflation does not seem like much but it floated really well. In fact, it floated so well that it took me a while to find enough distributed weight to keep it submerged. I ended up having to use a heavy magnet and a marble lid. I left the pouch submerged for 10 minutes. The tissue paper inside stayed completely dry.The clear plastic on both sides allowed me to use the touchscreen features on my phone no problem. One side has a small, thin section on each end for Touch ID unlocking on the newer iPhones. I was unable to test this feature as I have a Google Pixel 2 that has its fingerprint sensor in the middle of the phone. (For reference, one of my photos shows the case for my phone inside it.)The pouch comes with a lanyard made out of polyester or some similar synthetic material which attaches via a hard plastic clip. It seems durable and lightweight.Overall, this seems like an excellent purchase so far. I looked at many similar products and this one seemed to have the most features at a great value.

Keeps my phone dry, floats, and allows me to use my phone through the plastic screen!Unfortunately, my phone has the fingerprint sensor in a weird location so it doesn't really work for me, but I would assume that it works for most phones.Looks to be of good quality, the only thing I am concerned about is the fact that the product has air-filled pockets and I would think that the air would slowly seep out. Not a deal-breaker, but if they could find a different material that would allow it to float instead of filling it up with air, that would be great. Luckily it has a strap, so even if the air-pockets deflate, you can be assured that your phone won't sink to the bottom of the pool lol.

I did not buy this for its waterproof abilities, but it has come in handy for that as well. My Note 8 is in a Tech21 Evo Check Flexshock case which fits snugly inside and I am able to use the phone through this outer case. Most of the time I leave the top unlatched and take the phone in and out when using, but on a rainy or snowy day it's nice to have the option to leave it inside and still be fully functional. I am very pleased with my purchase of this product.

I bought this because I want to have my phone with me out on a stand up paddleboard in the ocean or lake. I tested it with my iPhone 7+ in my kitchen sink. It sank to the bottom immediately, not even close to being neutrally buoyant or floating. This case is waterproof, but my iPhone is already waterproof. But, I need something to make it FLOAT if it falls in the water.

I bought this for my beach vacation with my family and decided to test it in the murky waters off the coast of North Carolina. The concept is pretty easy to grasp and I like that I am able to operate my phone from outside the case. I was knocked over by waves, splashed on, dived into waves and even drowned... but my iPhone7+ survived without a drop of water or a grain of sand! I definitely recommend this product.

Although it seems a tight enough closure to be waterproof I have not trusted to use in water. As it is I cannot seem to get touch screen feature to work as described and my phone overheats while it is enclosed making it torally unusable.

Phone works great in the pouch and fits in the pouch well too. Not sure if it floats or keeps dry as we have not dropped it in the water yet. It is sealed very good and I am sure it would stay dry and am positive it will float.

Sealed and worked perfect. My note 8 didnt fit with a case on it though. Other than that waterproof!
