Sheaffer Skrip Fountain Pen Ink Cartridges Brown - Pack of Five

I still write with the pens I used in high school. I like to cursive write and feel like it is an anachronistic hobby in todays digital age. However I love the flow of the ink and the colors are special. I like the brow ink for my journal since it gives an immediate antique look to my musings and rants. Writing is like an arcane skill now a days and i gladly practice it.

I use a Sheaffer pen on documents and books that I handwrite and consider myself a student of printing and writing. Love the ink. I did have trouble once with the cartridges drying up fairly quickly before being used, but I have to admit I can go some time between using each. So that could be the culprit. These latest are the brown ink, which is a very dark brown initially and fun to use to give your papers a slightly antique quality.

Ink is durable, works well with a waterbrush, and colorvalue is just right.

I had an older Shaffer calligraphy pen and bought these refills. They work but are not worth the expenditure. Not full of ink and other brands may be better.

Sheaffer is the only brand of ink cartridge I buy for my calligraphy. Wonderful selection of colors on-line versus the limited colors at brick & mortar stores. Half of one cartridge did over 70 wedding invitations; both addresses & return addresses.Will definitely continue to buy!

Works fine in my older fountain pen, the brown looks the same as it did when I was in school, I wish they still had emerald green though it was the best color

Received delivery today in a box with other items but one of the cartridges was removed so only received five cartridges instead of six. Rest of items in box were complete. Otherwise would have given this 5 stars.

It is getting harder to find these cartridges and I almost always write with a fountain pen (sorry, that is the pen used by my grandmother and she taught me to write). Now, I would have to drive for an hour to get these so I am always depending on online for to this source. Cartridges are always full, delivery quick.

When I write with ink I always use brown ink with cream paper. As I have a Sheaffer pen I have always used Sheaffer Brown Ink in cartridges as well as bottled. Because I leave the ink standing for some time I find that it does not dry up like other products just what you want. Recommended.Price and delivery very good.

As with all Sheaffer products , very good quality at a reasonable price. The colour is definitely a nice bread.

Nice colour and the ink dries much quicker than the black ones.
