Litter boxI have a lot of cats more than I care to say. This is my fourth automatic cleaning litter box. It has kept up with the more expensive litter boxes I have purchased. It keeps the box clean. My cats are not scared to use it. The sensors work great and cleans the litter box right after my cat exits and it dumps the waste in a sealed container to control the odor. The large capacity is perfect for larger cats. I have a 17 lb cat and he fits in this box without being cramped. Love the light so they are able to use it at night. I have it in my bedroom and I keep it completely dark at night. It is worth the money for the cleanliness and convenience it adds to my life. It is super quiet and doesn’t wake me while I’m sleeping. It was very easy to set up and get it set to the automatic feature. The color is great.

This little box has been nothing but frustrating from the start. The manual is the saddest excuse for a product manual I've seen. It is easy enough to put together, but there is no directions for use. Instead, it comes with a QR code to download an app and walks you through how to connect the little box to that.I specifically asked if WiFi or an app on a smart device was required, and was told no, there is a manual mode. Setting up and reading online (because the manual is useless) it says the manual mode is to control the little box with the app... I do not want a little box that is solely dependent on WiFi and an app. That is insanity, and precisely why I asked before buying it.The automatic mode is supposed to just run when it senses a cat. Sounds great, no WiFi required for that. However, the little box never does just one cleaning cycle. Instead it goes into a continuous spinning of the drum until it errors out and is stuck upside down. I have come to check on the box several times now to find it stuck upside down, exposing the tray with the waste and useless for our cat as a little box.I expected better, much better, for the price of this litter box. The automatic mode has not worked a single time. The advertising and questions answer were misleading on what the manual mode is. It says you can control it with the control panel, however, if I hit the clean button it goes into a continues cleaning mode that just spins the drum until it errors out and gets stuck, or I literally unplug it.Perhaps this is just a faulty unit, but there is no sign of damage to the product or the box it was shipped in. If this thing actually worked, it would be awesome, but I have tried every combination of buttons, long holds on buttons, etc and always end up with the same result. I have to unplug it to get it to stop spinning or it gets stuck upside down, and again, I have to unplug it.

The media could not be loaded. I will first start off by saying this thing is great. It works great smell is minimal and cats took right to it.Right out the box this thing had Bart of the plastic not attached correctly before being screwed together. No problem. I fixed it. Set it up, the app connected easily and it functions as it should. It sifts well, no litter dumps on the floor, cats trigger it to stop as it should for safety. Fantastic. But I noticed it kept stopping when it would go to clean and it would say “ Door anti-pinch triggered! “. Mostly it would continue after pushing “clean” or I’d have to reset it. I switched it to manual mode and started watching it when it would clean. I noticed the whole drum would “clunk” then stop shortly after it got to a certain point and only sometimes wouldn’t let me continue. I grabbed the drum and lifted up on it and it clunks again back into place. Odd. Then I could resume the cleaning. Sometimes it wouldn’t let me resume at all I’d have to reset it. I lifted the whole drum out and realized the clunk was the little track on the side of the drum is dropping off one of the little roller wheels. I took it apart and sure enough one of the wheels was wiggly. It was simply one loose screw causing all the problems. I took the whole thing apart to find that the nut in the back as been grinding away at the plastic because it was loose and the plastic there to “hold” it is not very sturdy plastic. I took the other three screws out around the roller housing so I could grab the nut with a pair of needle nose pliers and hold it while I tightened the screw. Put it all back together and now the thing works flawlessly. I added pictures of my app notifications before and after the fix, pictures of the side that was loose and side that was fine and a video of the problem.I share this because it is very expensive machine with a very easy fix if this may be the issues others are having. It is simply the drum off track triggering the pause. But also that maybe the manufacturer will take this into account and fix it before shipping out devices with such a simply fix because I’m sure many people have returned it because of this.
