Although it offers a handy selection of zippers in various sizes, and is a convenient way to fix those annoying broken zips, it's not without its flaws.On the plus side, the black zipper pulls look smart and are easy to fit. However, getting the zippers to actually work can be somewhat fiddly. The sizing of the zipper sliders is wide of the mark, making it tricky to find the right one for the job, and the plastic sliders themselves feel a bit flimsy and prone to bending out of shape.It seems this kit is a bit hit-and-miss, and whether it works for you might depend on what you're trying to fix and how good you are at DIY. So, I can only recommend these as a temporary solution to zipper malfunctions.

cannot use it as it does not work

This arrives with 10 bags each bag has one of the 3 size zips and a pull cord for each zip.I guess I would say you get small, medium and large.I have used the medium which is pretty much the general size of the zip on my jumpers and tog bags, and probably the most useful.Fitting is a bit of a fiddle, depending what you fitting it to you may need both zip sides or just one initially.You place the zip replacement, fold it, insert nut on the appropriate side and then screw it in, do not forget the pull cord like me.That is it, I will say I have gotten my replacement zip to work quite well, it is not as smooth as the original and is obvious, but the zipper works, and opens and closes just as it should.I have only used the medium, but so long you can get the replacement zipper to match with the broken it should work.This means I do not have to throw away a few decent bags that just need a new zip.My results are good and I now have a working zip, now to see how long it lasts.

I have a trouser with a defect zip. Forget that, these here are too big. But if you have a jacket with these large zips, or a travel suitcase, maybe a tent, that may be working. I cannot test them right now, but I see no issue why they should not work, on a zip where a similar sized zipper was. It may be something for emergency use, temporary fix, better than nothing. There is still a risk that it may not work well or long. Just try.
