This game is well made & designed for solitary play (one player at a time). All the pegs fit into the holes. Our game came with 19 pegs which would be 6 extra. I left the extra pegs in their plastic bag, wrapped it in clear adhesive tape & stuffed them into the bottom of the storage container in hopes we won't lose them.The wooden board is sanded and the top is finished with a coat of varnish or something similar. There are no rough edges on the board which is angled in a trapezoid shape. The top of the game board is the widest part of the trapezoid which makes the game easy to pick up.Rules of the game & scoring for beginners & advanced players are on the top of the board.I chose this particular IQ peg game because it has the storage container on the game board. The lid fits securely, but I would like it even better if the lid was attached to the cup by a long strap or something similar.I bought this for a family member in hopes playing the game will help him with reasoning/problem solving skills. He has Parkinson's disease (PD) which comes along with other problems most people aren't aware of. Because of PD, he has vision problems, reasoning issues & at times has trouble with hand/eye coordination. He always enjoyed this game & always won. I was expecting him to have difficulty playing again, but was happy when he told me he won after playing 3 times. He hasn't had any problems picking up the pegs, putting them into a hole either & hasn't lost the lid or any pegs. Currently we have pegs stored on the board in every hole, none are wobbly & none have fallen out.I'm happy with my purchase.Made in the USA

I've loved this game all of my life!
Well made product. Came with extra pegs which is nice. I liked the built in storage cup with the lid to store pegs in. The plastic lid snaps on tightly and is much better than the paper lid on a similar product I bought elsewhere. This is a fun game which I've been playing it since childhood, when I would go to our favorite family restaurant which had them at all the tables. Now I'm in my 50's and I still enjoy it.

What Is Pictured And Described
This little board is made with pure, simple, clean craftmanship. It's made in the U.S of A andis truly pictured and described at to what you will receive. I particularly like the fixed cup on theboard to keep the pegs in, it has a snap on lid. The little cup is even made good. If you're familiarwith this game, it's all complete with this set and you WILL like it. For my personal displeasure,it's a "tad bit" over priced. I will not complain too much about that, nobody made me buy it.In essence, I do believe that you will be very pleased with this item because you will receive whatyou are looking at on the seller's page, if you can overlook the little bit of over pricing...

Great little table game
In anticipation of a small family gathering, I purchased this for the introverts. I think it is important to keep in mind your guests and their personalities when having a soiree so everyone feels included in the festivities. This game is great for one person and it kept my shy nephew off his phone for the whole night. Success! I took off one star because of the drill holes - they were not smoothed out! I had my husband sand them so no one would get a splinter playing this game. The sanding ended up taking some of the paint off; that was a little disappointing.

Messy holes that need sanding
As you can see in the picture, they never filed down or cleaned the holes after drilling into the wood. Looks like they did the drilling last, and failed to sand anything down. I'm very disappointed with this product.

Great Portable Game
We had another one that wasn't the "orignal" IQ game like this version. This product is the one I remember playing when I was in high school.

Poor Quality Control
Quality control seems to be lacking. The holes were not drilled correctly and there was splintered wood in it that made it difficult to move the pieces in and out. It became tiresome to be exact with the placement of the pieces. After I had to drill the holes out to make them wider, it became much more usable. However, I shouldn't have to do that given the price.

Terrible quality
What terrible quality... the holes are not smoothed down and the pegs have extra plastic still on them... what sloppy work
