Great Case

When I saw that the magnetic circle was not in place when this arrived, I was not that concerned. It was easy to stick back in place. But the real problems are with the design of this case. The cutout for the new touch camera control button. The opening is not large enough for my small, pointy fingers to push the button yet alone use the touch features. The other problem is that this case is nearly impossible to remove once you finally get it on. It seems to me that the plastic this case is made of is just too hard and not stretchy enough. It’s like the engineers were not on the same page. Actually the case is too hard and brittle to offer much protection for the phone. I will not be using this case.

Speck is the only brand I trust to protect my valuable devices. Very durable and stylish and will keep your devices looking brand new even if you drop them as much as I do.

I have been using Speck grip cases for 6 years and 5 different iPhones. I was very disappointed with the new grip cases. They are not grippy like previous ones. The plastic is very smooth and slippery. I got a Smartish Gripmonk and it is really grippy.

The media could not be loaded. Speck is a decent brand with a great following that makes really superlative cases. I believe this is an entry level iPhone case for this company and as such it has many of the standard features they are known for such as great protection for your devices and nice designs. But the one thing they name this particular case after is also its weakest feature and that is the "Grip" - it has none in my opinion. Very slick materials are used to make the case, but despite the addition of ridges along the edges, the phone is just too slick to remain in my hands. The accidental drop of the iPhone in the video was exactly that - an accident. I didn't try to drop it, it just happened. I do point out several positives of the case in the short video, but for me, this is not a case I would recommend. I hope that you find the video helpful.

This case protects the new phone very well.

This clear case is very nice esthetically as it is very clear allowing you to see the good looking phone inside and has good lips and ridges around the phone for protection. No issues using mag safe items and charging but the one thing I knocked a star off for was the case despite having deep ridges on the sides and back is very very slick. I dont know if it will get better with time and a little wear but feel like I will drop the phone because of it so be aware of this when purchasing.
