Very unique line of quality writing instruments. The design is very well thought out with a very good quality construction. It has a very good feel in the hand and writes very nicely!A follow-up review: I have carried this pen on a regular basis at work. I have been very pleased with the quality of the pen overall, however, be aware that the ink cartridge on my pen ended up leaking and ruining a brand new ,very expensive shirt before I even got to wear it for the first time!

Pen writes nice, but rather expensive. Had to wait to get the pen to order refills, so get the correct refill, also expensive at around $20 each. Ordered it because my dad flew thee P-51 Mustang in WWII, but other than the name, I did not see much connection to the pilots or WWII. Bought two; one is a gift. Hope he likes it.

I’m in a suit every day and I’m constantly using my pen and offering it to clients for signatures. I collect pens and have several nice ones. I saw this on Instagram and had to have it. Not only is the design cool and unique, it writes amazingly well. Clients get a kick out of it and it’s fun to have something different. Highly recommended!

Since I'm old enough to know what the Flying Tigers were this is a super cool pen. It's comfortable to use but the most important thing is it is truly cool to hold a little bit of history in your hand!

I have always liked writing tools. However, there is a certain combination that really catches my eye. History-oriented, reasonable length, stubby for better grip - and this pen met all three requirements. It's my current EDC, and I don't see that changing in the foreseeable future. The price is fair, the quality is great, though I'll change out the ink cartridge for fine point when it runs dry.

Der Preis für den Retro 1951 Tornado Kugelschreiber ist gerechtfertigt. Die Qualität, explizit die Verarbeitung, ist einwandfrei. Der Kugelschreiber liegt sehr ausgewogen in der Hand, da Gesamtgewicht beträgt 30g. Bei diesem Kugelschreiber liegt keine Kopflastigkeit vor, wie zum Beispiel bei schwereren Modellen )39g) einer anderen Serie von Retro 1951.Die Mine habe ich ausgewechselt gegen eine Schneider/Parker mit breiter Strichführung (B), da mir dies beim Schreiben angenehmer ist. das kann aber jeder für sich selbst entscheiden, nur schön, dass es hier möglich ist. Ich kann nur für dieses Modell sprechen und würde es empfehlen.
