It's not hard to breach the outer sphere, but that's not all bad
I'm a grown man with large, strong hands. I'm also an agoraphobe (I have anxiety in crowd situations) and I took out my anxiety one evening in an especially aggressive manner on two of these balls and managed to breach the outer silicone such that the contents (little rubber balls) were coming out. But the inner balls are squishy rubber, and are, themselves, an interesting fidget toy in their own right. I still have one "intact" big ball, but I play with the "leaked" rubber (silicone, actually) balls more than the intact big ball. And it's impossible to "out-squeeze" those little balls.FWIW, the "weak spot" in these balls seems to be where a cap was applied after the little balls were inserted. Keep this cap towards the palm while squeezing the ball (to minimize the pressure on the cap seam) and you might get a little more use out of these gizmos. These are three distinctly different balls - you are not simply getting three identical or even substantially similar balls. First, these are all air-filled; there is no liquid. The outer "ball" is a highly elastic silicone which is milky at rest but becomes clear when stretched (such as when someone squeezes the ball). This delightfully reveals the true colors of the inner balls, which are either bright primary colors or semi-transparent pastels. One ball has just bright balls. Another ball (the one with external "spikes") is actually divided into two halves internally, and one half has bright balls and the other half has tiny "balls" about the size of a grain of rice, and all colored aqua-blue. The third ball is much like the first, but the inner balls are the translucent ones, and it includes a larger "light ball" that is sensitive to vibration and will flash (VERY brightly) for about 12 seconds, illuminating the other balls. It is a three-colored LED ball. This "light ball" is powered by three LR40 watch batteries which are practically impossible to replace (there is no access to the light ball to begin with, and the hemispheres are solvent-welded together).

Too Sticky!!!
Do not recommend, unless it will be sitting on a desk and no dust or dirt around. EVERYTHING sticks to these things!!!

Slightest pressure will cause product to burst.
Within minutes two of the three balls broke in my autistic nephew's hand. The marbles inside went everywhere and the slime filling coated his hand. This is an enormous safety concern for nonverbal children and adults who may use this product with limited supervision i.e. a classroom setting. Extremely unsafe product.

like rubber and nail polish
These stress balls smell awful, like rubber and nail polish. It says no odor but there definitely is an odor. Everything also sticks to the balls.
