I bought this for my hockey-loving kid, but I was skeptical how well it would work for us. Our indoor space is not really suitable for hockey-playing because there aren't large, unobstructed areas--you can't really put two goals across from one another anywhere in the house, somehow. That said, I thought it might still be fun to scoot around a puck, and I was hoping that the hockey sticks would be sturdy enough for some backyard play. As it turns out, the sticks are actually really terrific. They require a small amount of assembly, but everything is included and it's very simple. (The screws actually thread into the pre-drilled holes easily, which is NOT guaranteed for plastic toys!) I am glad that they need to be assembled, though. Not only does this mean the package can ship in a smaller container, but adding the extra screws onto the body of the stick makes it a lot sturdier because of that reinforcement. These sticks are not going to easily snap in half, that's for sure. My kid used these outside with a friend, and they got a LOT of wear and they're good as new. They are also waterproof and can sit outside in the elements without worry. I had mixed results using the hover pucks outside on the driveway, but if your driveway is smoother (and not littered with leaf debris like ours is in New England right now) you might have more luck. These work really well indoors, though, and they are indeed padded enough to make it reasonable to use them indoors (though they still of course make noise when slamming into things). They are bigger than I expected, but my 7yo wasn't really fazed. You do need to install batteries and I'd assume the battery life isn't spectacular, but that's to be expected. The inflatable ball is cheap but gets the job done. The goals are sort of a pain to put together, but they're decent quality once you do it. Overall I am actually really impressed with the quality of this set, actually. It's not some cheapo disposable thing. It takes some setup time (so beware if this is given as a gift!) but it's sturdy and fun and well made.

The media could not be loaded. I have a 5 year old and a 2 year old. They are active and always looking for something fun. During the winter months it can be hard to occupy them. This set should keep them entertained for a while. The balls have soft, cushioned sides, so they won’t damage my walls or furniture. They’re not especially loud when they’re running. The kids can set up the nets in the living room and play hockey or soccer. My only complaint is that the hockey sticks should have padding since this is a toy for 3 year olds.

This is a great set for the kids and adults a like. Really easy to put together and it's fun! We have a blast playing with it. Great indoor activity.

My boys love this! They play in the hallway and family room where there is tile. Works really well and kept them busy. Very good quality totally worth the price!

This is the perfect kit to start teaching a toddler how to play soccer and how to play hockey. The goals are super easy to assemble. The small hover balls work great inside the house on a flat surface. And the kid also includes a soccer ball and hockey sticks. My three-year-old loves it so far.

My 3 year-old loves playing with this set. The lights on the hover soccer ball do help a lot to appeal my kid's attention. The ball has nice thick rubber rings around which make it easy to bounce around the house. This would be perfect to gift a friend's child.

Both my 3 yr old and 8 year old love this set. Since there are 3 different games to play it gets lots of play time with my kids. Most of the items are good quality, the soccer ball is kind of flimsy but works for us. The kids are more interested in the hover balls anyway. The net was a little harder to put together than the video online made it appear and they are smaller than anticipated. The hockey sticks were very easy to put together. Also ensure you have batteries on hand, you'll need four AA and three AAA the description clearly states this so I made sure I had batteries ready. My kids love playing with the hover balls outside but inside I only allow them to use the soccer ball and nets. The hover balls can scuff up the walls. This would make a great holiday or birthday gift.

Love this! The hover balls are really neat. Soft all around. Takes 4 batteries though so that gives it a bit of weight. Colours pop. Great set for inside though. My kids love this set.

I have a young grandbaby who wants to play what the big kids are playing. This gives him a chance to try soccer, hockey and a choice to static or hover.Comes with good directions that include pictures. Included are a hand pump for the soccer ball and a small screwdriver with the needed screws to put the sticks together. Joiners are for putting the goal total The net is provided as well.You will need to buy some AAA batteries - needed for the two hovering items.My little guy had a lot of fun with this set. It's small enough that the hockey sticks fit him and he easily used it. It took a little longer to get used to the hover. You can take this toy outside, but personally I store it in the garage to keep it dry.Well made, kid liked, a winner for grandma's toy box.
