I purchased these for a friend of mine who is a into weight training and body building. He loves them, they are great for barbells, dumbbells, kettle bells and row or pull up work. He works at a well known gym and when I gave him these he was very impressed with the quality. He asked me where I purchased them and I told him they were by Anvil Fitness on Amazon. He referred several of his close customers to the site to also get them a set. He showed me how to work them on the kettle bells and I was impressed with how effortless these straps seemed make swinging the bells look. He also let me try with a lighter set of bells as I have a weak right wrist from years of computer pecking I was very surprised at my ability to grip the kettle bell and hold it for longer than I thought with much ease.They are very durable and made from premium cotton for maximum comfort. The integrated foam support padding on the wrist area seems to provide more comfort and does not get in the way of the wrap. This is a very nice quality wrist wrap and definitely we will recommend it to other friends. They are long enough for 2-3 wraps around a bar. These wraps are ideal for use at end of workout when grip strength is running low or your joints are getting weak.*I received a discounted sample of this product for test and review. This is the very 1st pair of lifting straps that I've ever used so I'm a little inexperienced with using them. I previously had surgery on right thumb back in 2012 and I've had difficulties keeping my grip during exercises like shrugs and deadlifts. I have moderate tendinitis in my right thumb and it has a fair restriction in terms of range of motion and grip strength. So I quickly tried these out after I received them and attempted 4 sets of 315lbs deadlifts. They helped out immensely! It was the 1st time in years that I've attempted that amount of weight and weighing in at 165lbs I was initially very reluctant before starting. Nevertheless, I managed and these straps truly helped me whenever I felt my grip slipping in my right hand during the last few reps. They have a way of securing the weight by allowing a more secure way of gripping the weight. If it weren't for these straps the barbell would've slipped from my right hand as my grip strength gradually weakened during the last few reps. The actual straps feel very durable, yet comfortable; the padding that surrounds the actual wrist felt comfortable as well. I also like the subtle and stylish design of the logo embroidery across the strap that doesn't feel too ostentatious. I'll start to make a habit of using these frequently to increase my deadlifts and shrugs in the future. Overall I'm happy with my purchase and I hope to be using these for a very long time.

These straps are fantastic, no frills and straightforward. Packaging was tops and nicely done, plus it's great supporting a family-owned small business. As far as the quality goes, these are well constructed and solid, they will certainly hold up over time. Performance-wise the straps are great and have great holding/sticking power to the bar, ensuring a secure grip throughout the hole motion of the lift. The only criticism I have is that for someone who is using wrist strips for the first time, setting up the straps properly might be confusing, instructions and suggestions would have been nice, but not overly necessary. This gets them 5 stars alone because to me, customer service and product satisfaction on that personal of a level is necessary and often rare nowadays. These are top quality heavy lifting straps. I want to love them, but they are not made for a smaller size wrist. The padding area, while fantastic, is just too long to fully loop the straps for a snug fit around a small wrist. Therefore after wrapping a bar you have some slack between your wrist and the wrapped bar which isn't really a good thing. "One size fits all" doesn't work here. If there was a version of these where the padding was just an inch shorter I'd buy em in a minute.

I am so so SO happy I purchased these straps. I train for ice hockey and so we do weight lifting as a part of my hockey training program. I was struggling with my deadlifts because of my grip strength. I could not finish a set because my hands and wrists would simply give out. It was very frustrating. My trainer recommended that I invest in straps, but I kept putting it off thinking it was a "weak" thing to do, but on the contrary- it has made me stronger because I actually am able to do my sets AND do them with heavier weight because I don't have to worry about losing the grip.The straps are easy to put on and it's an amazing product!
