looks like a cowboy hat and shades my face with solar fan power at the same time. Just what I needed.

Fan is not that great, hat with a style is ok.

I absolutely love this hat! Growing up on a farm I wish I had this hat blowing kool air on my head every sunny day. For it to also be solar with no fuss I have cool air every time I step in the sunny weather. It's great!

Great for people out in the sun all day. I do get looks though they have to ask where I got it from. I mostly use it for mowing and hot projects at work. It has lasted so far this summer. I do wish there was a slightly larger solar panel for more power, with the space available.

Its the rave... works only in direct sunlight, no batteries, but its a big help on a hot sunny day,, my head sweats. the fan blows air across my head and out the back, evaporating the sweat, which because it goes from liquid to gaseous (a higher energy state - physics) sucks the heat out of the surroundings which makes the head cool (not cold but cool is good instead of hot)... it works alot faster as the sun is more intense just when you need more.. doesn't have batteries so it does not work in shade, works slower in overcast depending . I LOVE IT !!! and everyone its thrilled with it. !! BE CAREFUL,, straw hats eventually with misuse get raggedy over 2 years. so be super careful and it may last you a long time. I thought about putting batteries in it... so it would work when cloud rolls by or in shade... not sure if I want to spend the time on that. I think since batteries re-radiate back thru the solar panel unless you put in a diode (takes off 0.6 volts, so try the smart diode which is only 0.02 volts has 3 pins but just tie 2 pins together to get the normal 2 pin diode format which can be used as a standard diode. ). .
