Super Moss 21513 Preserved Sheet Moss, Fresh Green, 16-Ounce

I bought this moss primarily to add to my indoor fiddle leaf fig tree that is currently living in its 24 inch pot. I didn’t want the soil to be bare and wanted to elevate the look with some gorgeous green moss. GREAT IDEA because it looks so much nicer than the soil.Initially, I was going back and forth between moss options because I couldn’t gauge how much I needed for my 24 inch terracotta planter, but I’m glad I bought this size as I have a lot left over for replacement (see picture).Also past moss I’ve bought have been low quality and the green faded overtime. I have had this moss sitting in sun, for over a month and it’s thriving and looking great!BUY THIS SIZE!!! You won’t regret it and your indoor plant will look elevated and chic all while retaining moisture if facing indirect or direct sun light.

I purchased this moss to make a living flower wreath. The moss was nice and green which was what I needed. Project came out great. Thank you.

Other reviewers here have been surprised to find that this isn't live moss they can plant. Or, that it doesn't stay bright green forever. That's because this moss doesn't say that it is either live or permanent.It is, however, exactly what it says it is— Preserved, green sheet moss, great for putting on top of the soil in your planters. It holds moisture in, about 5 times longer than nothing, plus it serves to encourage micro-biologic life within the soil, which is also good for your plants. I have used it that way for three years now, and let me tell you it has saved me at least 10 times the cost in lost plants that didn't dry out, and 80% less trips to watering in my climate. And while it is NOT live, it does fluff up when wet, looking just like live. But that's just the first year; if you re-use it where it doesn't show the next year, it never looks as good as the first year.I just wish I could give it 20 stars to make up for people who don't read what they're buying, then complain.

Too much brown, one dimensional moss. The green is a putrid olive green, a very dead green, not resembling the picture at all. I have some moss (from four years ago which is still willing to react positively to transfer, look three dimensional and ALIVE. This moss was nothing compared with the very same brand I bought several years ago and still have. This bag has so much dark olive/tan in it that it is pathetic! This was a waste of money and looks horrid next to my amaryllis bulbs and narcissus bulbs. The sheets we very thin as well, NO plushness at all. My bulbs, looked simply horrible surrounded by this moss! I would look elsewhere if I were you unless you WANT a very dead, depressing, over-all drab olive which lacked texture and interest. Blah! I put water on it while watering in the bulbs and saw no improvement in the color of this moss. Awful purchase! What in the world happened to the moss which was "promised" in the photo?This moss looks like it was baked at 350 degrees for an hour, not preserved properly with care for color nor texture. Geez...just what I need: another problem in my life to see if I can even return it! And being handicapped, I would have to pay her salary while taking this gross moss to the post office! This moss wound up costing the high price AND the disappointment and my maid's salary in my place while mailed back even if that will be possible. STEER CLEAR. Thin, grayish, olive, tan moss with no texture? Just why is there such a misleading picture with a gorgeous green, thick and "live" looking moss and the difference in what i received?

This product was not what I was looking for, obviously. I wanted live moss to transplant and this is preserved moss for decorative purposes. Color is not pretty and bright green like real live moss.

I love this moss! It holds up to projects beautifully, isn’t as messy and I love this color! There IS a difference in moss quality and this one is absolutely top notch! Just ordered more and I have found my new go to moss for my projects. Highly recommended
